Going to go see his movie with Idris at the Angelika tonight, been meaning to go, guess no better day than today now for sure.
Movie in only two theaters in NYC, they about to change that I'm sure just to rake in the ghoul money....

I can't think of any politician who's done more for the causes of justice and peace than Mandela.
The world desperately needs more men and women like him, who can make peace with their enemies as well as fight and make sacrifices for what is right.

I hate the brother died. But it is true when Europeans like you something is wrong. When they first announced that they were going to let Mandela out of prison. He was already out. They had abused him so much while he was in to the point where he looked sick. But they needed him looking normal and like they had not been abusing him. They had planned to use him to stop a race riot in South Africa since apartheid had been exposed and now the blacks realized they were still losing to many people every day. And either they die on their knees begging for freedom. Or they die on their feet fighting back like a real man. And a race riot was on the way. They let Mandela out to give the people false hope while they make new plans to keep the wealth of South Africa and secretly continue to kill off the blacks and everything real about the blacks of South Africa.
Mandela did what he could. Now it is our time to build power here in America and take it to the outer most parts of the earth.

About 17 years ago I went to see his house in Soweto. Before white people went there much. They had to build a concrete wall down the middle of the living room because the South African police used to have fun by going up on the hill opposite and taking pot shots at them though the window. Then about 5 years ago I went to Robben Island and saw the tiny cell in which he spent all those years. You wouldn't keep a dog in it.
He had so many reasons to hate, but never did. A truly great man. Sadly, there aren't any more great men following behind.
