About this...isn't Michelle Obama a well educated woman with advanced degrees? She's not not hood chick that works at Popeyes with a $500 Gucci belt.
2 grand isn't a lot for a dress honestly. I have a $700 suit, and I didn't go into the special room where this old white guy was getting measured by an older white guy. "Off the rack" clothing is always cheaper because it's a generic fit...a $2000 dress is going to be tailored to fit you perfectly.
In that chick's head we are all dumb and poor. Her entire Twitter page is about down talking black folks. She needs a life.
And odds are, Mrs Obama didn't have to pay for the dress. That's free advertising for the designer. You don't give people in the public eye free stuff because you're a fan, you do it to bring brand awareness...and what better person to give a dress to than the First Lady.
