Good to hear Bomani is sticking around. I listen to his podcast regularly. That High Noon show with Pablo sucked though.
Hopefully, he gets his own show maybe with Dominique Foxworth. I like listening to the both of them.
I like Golic Jr. He has a refreshing take on issues and he's not the stereotypical culturally clueless white guy that usually covers sports.
Maybe it's time for his dad to retire. He had a good run, but maybe it's time.
Wingo sucked at the radio gig. He just wasn't a good fit at all. He's better off hosting the NFL shows.
Jay Williams is the safe black man (like most Duke boys, lol) that won't rock the boat on the heavy issues.
He's just another SAS in the making.

I’m not dealing well with this at all. The show has been my morning backup noise since I can remember. This is right up there with the Loss of NFL Primetime with Boomer and TJ as the biggest punch to the gut that ESPN has given. Man this is going to come back and Bite them.
I’m happy that Golic Jr & Fitz are going to still be on the air but with different shows... which is dumb cause those two have great on air chemistry... but I don’t know what to do about my main man Mike Golic.. we are talking about a dude that has been a part of my mornings since 1998. I fucking Remember when Golic Jr was a kid. I know all about Golics wife from all of his stories on air. Like Dude this is hitting the feels right now. I just don’t know how to deal and then you give Greeny a radio show on top of Get Up. I like Greeny but not like this.

As of this year i boycottex that other station i am legit shocked no one has tried to attack that station proper for having no black folk up in there.
Hopefully they will give Golic another try with another co-host. It was Wingo who was holding the show back. There were rumors that he didn't want to do the show anymore, this was prior to the shows cancellation.
I remember back in the day listening to Mike and Mike on the Internet. I use to catch then on ESPN Chicago before they blew up.

Wingo was great with football he funny knows sports and got a good heart.
And its tough trying to build decades of chemistry on the fly

I meant that High Noon sucked because Pablo dragged the show down.
It would have been much better with another co-host like Dominique.

i have also been critical of Simmons and his staff but the bolded is a stretch to say the least. I've never heard anyone mention anything about the players background or parents. Usually they shitting on dumb GMs and my Knicks
i do find it very problematic how he loves black sports, black entertainment and black celebs but all his key contributors and friends are white guys.
They bent over backwards patting themselves on the back regarding their diversity when almost everyone that works there looks like him, thinks like him and comes from a similar background.

I love Greeny, I don't get the Bob Costas worship. Costas was cool, but he never moved the needle with me. I think it's more of an industry worship kind of thing. I haven't checked Greenys ratings, but I think he's winning.

Bomani can't fuck with Domonique on an intellectual basis. Maybe you like the way Bomani argues a point better. Bomani is great on his feet and can go toe to toe with anyone, But Domonique is a smart dude. I was amazed at how quick his mind was way before he started moving up the ESPN ladder.
I remember when they asked him about being a player rep, and what was it like being in the same room with all of those billionairs. Domonique said the main thing he noticed was he didn't think any of them were smarter than him. He wasn't bragging. More of a mater of fact statement.

I think people are REALLY under appreciating how f*cking difficult it was for them to DOMINATE that time slot through EVERYTHING
and still have a loyal audience that crossed over MULTIPLE demographics

That is quite a hot take. Foxworth is smart but I'm surprised to see anybody argue not just that he is smarter than Bomani but Bomain can't fuck with him on an intellectual basis.
