"The Sacred Jedi Texts": Do You Actually Remember What The Star Wars Expanded Universe Was?

The Star Wars Expanded Universe, known as "Legends," expanded the galaxy with books, comics, and games, introducing iconic characters. The EU was always shifting and changing based on new information from movies and TV shows, like the age of Jedi Master Ki-Adi-Mundi. Even though not considered canon, Legends books are page-turners that shouldn't be dismissed, offering a high-quality alternate Star Wars timeline.

Star Wars officially confirms two new prequels set before Phantom Menace

Love it or hate it, The Acolyte has revived Star Wars for many. Although some would argue the Disney series has ruined Anakin’s origin story, they can’t deny that it’s brought Star Wars back to the forefront of our minds. With this return to popularity, The Acolyte universe is expanding, and with it comes two new stories.

Unpopular opinion.
The Acolyte wasn't completely ass. The biggest problem that show had was editing.

They tried to make the 1st few episodes into some Nancy Drew murder mystery. They should have just told a straight thru narrative. Start when they were children and the shit went down and fast forward from there.

Andor was the best of all those series…
Unfortunately no one watched it, but at least it was a decent story with amazing production value.

the acolyte on the other hand is a mess

^^^

that part Star Wars fans have no one to blame but themselves.

Cause as much LOVE as Andor gets and it was highly promoted...

why aren't Star Wars fans held to task for NOT supporting what may say is the BEST series?

REALLY? That aint revisionist?

Andor got great reviews out the gate.

1st trailer got 11 million views.

BUDGET was serious

looking at this thread?

I think Star Wars fans dismissed it.

Most people I knew KNEW Andor was on (fan or not)... just didn't think it would work.

Hard to convince star wars fans at this point that we aren't in for trash products and disrespect to the source material, People are checked out and Disney has no one but themselves to blame.

Andor looks great but then we get announcements like another rey trilogy and upcoming series and movies that no one asked for. They have no idea what the fans want, it starts with Kathleen Kennedy that is on a personal mission to destroy everything Lucas stood for.

How dumb is this bullshit lmao

glowing reviews ain't enough
there are a bunch of great shows with stellar reviews that no one sees
some get lucky that word of mouth lifts them up after a few years

HBO was the king of that with shows like Wire Deadwood and Rome - SHOtime had shows like Huff
Starz had Black Sails for 2 seasons before people started watching
same with most Cinemax shows

shit - even FX had a bunch including the Americans -

trust when I say - only deep Star Wars geeks know about Andor being good

BUDGET was serious
because they were begging Gilroy to come inhouse

Acolyte was horrid and barely belongs with The Rise of Skywalker. Andor can be mentioned in the same sentence as The Empire Strikes Back, even though it belongs with Rogue One in tone.

Lack of humor is an increasing issue with the latest shows…
