I know the mouse has pissed off aLOT of people. They are misstepping in every way, in film and on TV that I can think of and I hope this is a solid GOOD show. I dont expect great - unless its coming from Gilroy.
Gilroy saved Rogue One and Andor is masterful storytelling. THAT is who should have done Obi Wan.
One thing I will give Ashoka credit for is the cast. THE CAST IS PHENOMENAL.
I like Ashley and what she did with the character but Rosario is the older version. I get the switch and I’ll roll with it. Plus, Rosario is 40 plus years old and starring in her own vehicle with a bunch of bad ass action scenes to keep in shape for. I look at her on the trailer and the spots and then glance over at my wife sitting on the couch with her feet up, eating fucking donuts.
I just shake my head until I feel like starting an argument about it.

Yo, the barbie 'incel' narratives are hilarious. There wasn't shit said until AFTER(because of brilliant marketing) the movie dropped and it was basically folks on one side hyping up some 'incel' hate because a few conservatives lashed out at the 'patriarchy' shit.
Folks are using a movie with blonde hair, blue eye cacs who basically stayed true to the IP(especially in marketing) as a 'stick it to incel' moment. They look like fucking fools.Barbie is not a win for the critically conscious. It shows that an IP MUST stick to being recognizable with no swaps in order to be a success. It actually proves the point 'incels'(really fans) make over and over and over again.
Remember, 'incels' loved the first season of Mando then disney disney'd. Ahsoka happens to be a girl and has a built-in fan base. It's a layup for Disney and right up their alley with OP girls. But even if the show is the greatest ever, Disney needs at least 3-4 more great star wars shows before being able to put something in theaters that will be profitable.
Problem is Disney don't have 3-4 OP girls to base shows on and they damn sure ain't letting strong male characters be a strong male characters and lead shows. Just wait until they ruin childhoods with lando.
When they fuck Lando up, I'm officially done.

She has the look down but lacks just about everything else that makes ahsoka, ahsoka. I also don't like the casting choices for herra and sabin, No energy whatsoever between those three.
Ray Stevenson(rip) and David tenent where the high points as far as acting goes.

Man, this shit was boring. It's too clean, too bright and just comes off as a big budget fan film.
I wasn't the biggest fan of Rogue One or even Andor, but that series felt lived in, dirty, real, like the original Trilogy. This just feels too fresh and clean and that presentation is just throwing me off.
If this takes place at the same time as Mando, why is it so different? It feels like an extension of that Lizzo/Jack Black episode of Mando from this past season.
And I just don't care for Dawson's fighting style as Ashoka. She just doesn't look natural.
I'll check the rest of it, because it's Star Wars, but I think I'll just let these episodes build so I can binge them all in one shot.

since when was Sabine a Jedi? I saw every episode of rebels, at least twice, and not once Was she an apprentice…Did I miss something. Special effects are not that special either
What does this have to do with ahsoka?
I'm going in with low expectations because I'm not a huge rebels fan. I liked the first season then Ezra became force sensitive and became annoying and it was all down hill from there.

Saber moves and how to feel the force if I recall correctly.
They got to make good use of "The Volume"...
