1st 2 episodes was alright...
I’m tryino to keep in mind that this is supposed to be Ashoka going through the CHANGE. This is not the same one we know from rebels and she is dealing with a traumatic pull to arms.
at some point she will have a Gandalf moment and be the white but we’ll see.
I cant tell if this is an acting choice or the writing.
Wish I still had my contacts with Filoni so I could probe his brain a bit. Lol He is a Star Wars purest to the end BUT that can affect the pacing and character development in these live action shows.

Ahsoka Taking Sabine as Her Apprentice Just Doesn't Make Sense
Sabine is lacking a pretty big quality for a Jedi padawan.

The show is too much like the cartoons, less like the films.
The first 5 minutes of the first episode was as Star Warsy as its going to get I guess.
We got the 98% female cast popping again I see too.
Story is already a mess as well. If we're going with midichlorians, cool. If we're going with you just gotta believe, cool... But we can't keep switching narratives. It's not making sense anymore.
You can't keep telling me every time we introduce a new 2 or 3 jedi survivors that there's so few survivors... I mean fuck did any of the jedi we didn't see get cut die anymore??
This is like Dragon ball super world building.
We introduce plots and establish shit that is going to be broken, sometimes within the same season. It's atrocious
At this rate Mase Windu might make a return.

Unpopular opinion (maybe) 
The live action stuff is starting to fuck with the animated stuff. It used to be cool to hear a big Hollywood actor coming into the cartoons to reprise their role across the canon.
But the stunt casting of big Hollywood actors isn't really translating well from animation to live action at the same ratio.
I'm not really digging live action Sabine or Hera and Rosario Dawson is sleep walking through this.

First two episodes were fantastic for me..... I love that this is a continuation of Rebels.
Also ... my spider senses are tingling .... I saw Sam Whitwer;'s name listed in the credits.. I know the man voices a ton of star wars shit...
But I also know that Dave Fioni talked about wanting to put Starkiller in Rebels....

I'm going to fucking explode and this will be the greatest star wars series of all time....
And they can do this and it can make sense...
They couldn't use the exact history but they could still make him Vader's secret apprentice ... Sense this guy is a mercenary .. They could use the part of the Force Unleashed Cannon where he Vader fucked him up and threw him out of the airlock and this is the cybernectic version that we saw.
This would just be perfect to have a series where Anakin's apprentice eventually goes up about Vader's apprentice... that's something that we have never seen.

Filoni gets a lot of love, but he needs someone to keep him in check. None of this feels like Star Wars. The whole Loathe Wolves, World Beyond Worlds, Magik, Clone Wars Father, Son Daughter shit....
I wish Disney didn't fuck shit up and instead centered their sequel trilogy and shows on the Yuuzhan Vong/New Jedi Order saga.
The sequel trilogy, and their shows (outside of Mando season 1&2) and Andor, have been wack.
I knew it would suck because rebels sucked. It took live action format to show that rebels is not star wars.
I've always agreed with this. It has few legit cool moments. Before it came out the aesthetic of the show turned me off. Character design, the kiddy Disney XD animation style.
