That's cause they died.
It's difficult to put a 1 off against 6 movies of history
the fact that they fit seamlessly and didn't fuck it up in ANY WAY is a testament to how good it actually was
many people complain about the new star wars and the 1/2/3 series gets shat on all the time
not rogue one.

Forgettable! John Woo’s character was a beast w/ his old blind force sensitive ass.

Would love to see a series of Sith Lord Vader as the protagonist and Yoda as the antagonist. Also, maybe a youngish Yoda as he is being trained.

They had brought american gladiators?!? Why have I never heard of this?

American Gladiators is an American competition TV show that aired on NBC and Citytv in Canada. Hosted by Hulk Hogan and Laila Ali,[1] the show matches amateur athletes against each other and the show's own "gladiators" in contests of strength, agility, and endurance. It is a remake of the original series of the same name which ran from 1989–1996, with elements of the UK version of the 1990s. The show is refereed by Al Kaplon, a former American League umpire, who can also be seen as the referee in Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story.[2] Play-by-play narration is handled by Van Earl Wright.

Season 1 was taped at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California.[3] Beginning with Season 2, the show moved to the Los Angeles Sports Arena. It is produced by Reveille Productions and MGM Television.

American Gladiators premiered on Sunday, January 6, 2008, an average of 12 million people watched the two-hour premiere.[4] All other Season 1 episodes aired Mondays at 8:00 ET/PT,[5] except for the finale, which aired Sunday, February 17, 2008 at 7:00 ET/PT. Season 2 premiered May 12, 2008, on NBC, with a two-hour episode.[6] The two-hour Season 2 finale aired on August 4, 2008 at 8:00 ET/PT. While the final two-hour episode of Season 1 was devoted entirely to the finals, the Season 2 finale consisted of the third semifinal round followed by the finals.

New episodes and new cast members were planned for a 3rd season in the summer of 2009,[7][8] however, NBC canceled those plans in March.[9][10]

In August 2008, Season 1 of American Gladiators began airing on WKAQ-TV, Telemundo Puerto Rico every Sunday at 8 PM. In September 2008, Season 1 of American Gladiators began airing on Sky1 in the United Kingdom on Tuesday afternoons. In April 2009, Season 2 of American Gladiators began broadcasting on Sky1 on Saturday evenings. In Australia, American Gladiators started airing on Seven's new free-to-air digital channel 7Two on Wednesdays at 7:30pm from November 4, 2009. Today, the show (plus the original one) can be seen on Hulu.

One of the female gladiators on this series, Jennifer Widerstrom, known by the codename Phoenix on this show, later became a fitness trainer on The Biggest Loser, replacing Jillian Michaels.

In August 2018, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg announced plans to bring American Gladiators back again for the fourth time and are shopping the idea to distributors who are interested in the revival.

A little baby Yoda... Lol

I already see toys and a Disney/Star Wars cartoon around the corner...

Disney knows how to market and brand better than any other company...

No. The timing is just right. NO NEED for bloat.
No, one episode pushing 40 minutes and another that comes in just around 30 is what throws the timing off.

Episode was amazing, no doubt, but they can do better than 30 minutes.

If this Baby Yoda is not killed or turned over, it changes a lot of shit in Star Wars moving forward.

Baby Yoda can live over 1000 years, Disney can be setting shit up for the next 200 years. Those Jawas are a bitch.

I think that baby Yoda is a clone of the actual Yoda.

If so, that is ill
Just a theory but the patch on these Clones from Attack of the Clones, is on the Doctor's shoulder when he walk in on The Mandalorian and Werner Herzog's character in the first episode.

I think Disney timed The Mandalorian to drop in preparation for Rise of Skywalker, as I bet Cloning of some kind plays into Rise of Skywalker and The Mandalorian....

Perhaps Rey IS a female Clone of Palpatine.

Perhaps baby Yoda is a middle school aged Yoda in Rise of Skywalker....

Good second episode. The baby Yoda thing needs more info. The Mandalorian needs to be a little more kickass. I hate these shows with characters that are supposed to be kickass getting their asses handed to them. Aren't these supposed to be badass bounty hunters? I guess the Fetts are the benchmark!

It would be boring if they didn't take damage and get hurt. Not much interest if they didn't have weaknesses.

I guess I'm the only one on BGOL who thinks this show is 'Meh' at best? If the next episode ain't any better, I won't be watching another one.

Good first two episodes.
Visuals was good.
But did not like the music.
Lone Wolf and cub was narrated by the kid.
It would have been epic if it was narrated in baby Yoda's voice...just for the first two episodes.

One thing for sure this is perfect marketing for the final film...

All the Star Wars flims released in time to watch the complete saga..
So all things Star Wars for 2 months....

One theory is it's a set up like Agents of Shield and Winter soldier...

The first 7 episodes lead up to Christmas week....then the Rise of Skywalker is released...

The final episode the next week... Connecting some dots...
