$100 isn't a lot of money for some people.
It's a lot of money for one meal, especially if you can cook. But I don't really care what people waste their money on, just for me that's a no go.
Exactly, it is all relative. My wife and I do a date night at least three times a month. The bottle of wine will cost anywhere from 60 bucks to 120 bucks just by itself.....and yeah, we like to dress up and enjoy indulging ourselves. No tie for me, but definitely sports coat...maybe even with jeans and loafers.
And how much a meal cost at a nice restaurant has nothing to do with whether one can cook. I can throw down in the kitchen....and would put my skills against anyone in this thread, but that ain't shit to do with me and the wife going out for a night on the town, that includes fine dining.
