great actorFinally got to Episode 5, I'm going to see this play out.
One thing for sure, I'm happy to see HBO gave Kofi Jones more work

The nonchalance and inevitability of death, survival at any cost, and the way they show that anyone is capable of anything IF YOU GET HUNGRY ENOUGH...the primal need to maintain, to exist, to live isn't strong enough in everyone and so only the strongest and smartest survive.

im sorry man i have to be real about this show....i mean i love love love the game but this show isnt working for me....its been so many boring episodes its not funny and one ep they dont show not one infected or clicker nothing through the whole show....to much time was spent on the gay stuff with bill which didnt havae that much time in the game lol then this ep the whole show about the kid and his brother lol i mean wtf all this content in the game they left out that would have been dope but no they left out then they act like there doing so good in the show at the end they drop a scene with a boss that looked like a guy in a rubber suit lol and a bnce of clickers lol .this show i might have to wait for the last 4 eps then then watch them cause every week im being let down....i will say the bill ep had good acting but this isnt why we are watching the show to see how they loved and acted towards each other that wasnt in the game.........real talk ill give this a solid 6 out of 10
the guy who got hemmed up by the Bloater is the voice actor for Tommy in the games

The episodes that have been good, have been pretty damn good(especially the pilot) the bad eps 3&4 have been pretty shit. What I really walk away with is an even bigger respect for how good the games are, the dialogue, acting, and action, cinematography and set pieces in the game blow the show out of the water. And I just know they won't nail TLOU2 which is a much bigger game and story with a lot more epic moments.

Yea. Craig Mazin who created Chernobyl said that the Spores was a hard no. When producing Chernobyl he stated that it was hard to get the right connection with an actor whey they were wearing the gas mask, and didn't want to run into the same issues the TLOU

I am currently half way watching episode 5.
One of the things that are different are the cities
Joel and Ellie went to Pittsburgh after encountering Bill
The tv series have it Kansas City.
Sam's age disparity in the video game is 13
in the series they have him 8.
I don't know why they have Sam a deaf.

they have him deaf because it shows how he really has to depend on his older brother and why his older brother will go to such great lengths ( like betraying a leader ) to protect him
they explain all of this in the show post scripts that are after every episode ...
