the point you're missing is that iggy took on lebron by himself and didn't need/require much help.
lebron is the best fucking player on the planet. any time you can use just ONE PERSON to "let him get his," you truly can "starve the rest of the team" bc it doesn't make you weak from having to double him.

But the way you beat a smaller defender is to isolate him and post him up in the paint.. You can post up all day, but if you have no point and no outside shooters all you have to do is trap hard as soon as he touches the ball..
