Memphis was doing young shit. This was the game they were supposed to win. All that ended with 45 seconds left.

I have to put this on the coach for not drawing up any plays in the final minute. He should have called a timeout and gotten some better shots from his players. Memphis' bad shots attempts lead to better opportunities for the Warriors.

Also, for the last 5 minutes of the game, Tyus Jones damn near had an 8 seconds violation every time he walked the ball up the court.

Jenkins got some learning to do as well. In these moments, coaches have to shine and you have to HELP your young players make better decisions. Even if the outcome is the same.

Bane and Brooks gave Memphis nothing tonight

I'm not sure what Memphis expected this game, but I was impressed with how they played. It wasn't pretty, but you have to play ugly against GS. While GS can win those types of games, the idea is to give yourself the best chances to win. GS rarely gets blown out. So keeping it close and executing at the end is the way to go. They should win game 5, because I expect better production from the roles.
