Supergirl's world just keeps getting bigger—and more exciting.
CBS and The CW Network announced Tuesday that two of their respective shows will collide this spring. The Flash will appear in an upcoming episode ofSupergirl,combining the two superheroes into one action-packed hour.
Actor Grant Gustin, who plays Barry Allen/The Flash in the CW'sThe Flash, will make his way into National City alongside Melissa Benoist, who stars as Kara Danvers/Supergirl, on the specialSupergirlepisode slated for Monday, March 28 at 8/7c on CBS.
"We are so incredibly excited to announce something that we have dreamed of happening since we starting makingSupergirl,” saidThe FlashandSupergirlExecutive Producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg. “We want to thank Grant Gustin for making the time to come visit (on top of his already immense workload) and all of the folks at CBS, The CW, Warner Bros. and DC for working this out."
The producers also took the opportunity to thank the many fans and journalists who "kept asking" for a crossover special.
"It is our pleasure and hope to create an episode worthy of everyone's enthusiasm and support,” saidBerlanti and Kreisberg.

I hope not. I can't see them giving us a fresh look at either one, or even building on what's been done already on TV.
I know she was looking right in those shorts at the car race.
That would make sense since Thawn wanted to be the Flash. So that would give them time to plant the seeds of Thawn obsession with the Flash in the first film they do. But then again the film is at least what 3 years away so by then it'll be okay to see a different take on the Reverse Flash.
Looking forward to seeing Fire and Ice next week. Such a shame what Arrow has become. Arrow is nothing but a creature of habit show for me now.
Yeah, Arrow is pissing me off. They use the same damn fighting moves in every scene now. Shit looks like Power Rangers moves over and over again. Diggle/Magneto needs to die, whiny ass Thea and her new boyfriend need to die, flat booty Laurel and her daddy need to die. They need to give Batman his villains back. Roy needs to become Arsenal instead of just calling himself Arsenal.
