Just watched ep 3. This series on track to be one of the best for the year. Right amount of story, action, politics without being too wild in any direction. My man "Chris" on the cast now and he didnt disappoint. Lets see what happens. Ole girl need to take a STFU pill tho....

But honestly, that's lazy writing to make her that flimsy and paper thin knowing who her dad was. If she was that week she would never be CIA. She wouldn't have made it.

If she was going to be Shook at all on the conversation, she should have stopped it before then and done it in a way where she still remains strong. She failed

Yes, shit gets crazy when it hits close to home, but that right there was a writing trope, and I don't like seeing it.
This is a good series, and I hate being able to see what's going to happen because of predictable writing. This is what happens when you hang on to tropes in writing. That's why I do my damnedest to avoid the major ones.
The smaller tropes are okay but the major ones I tried to have my characters Act the way a real person would in that situation.

Good points but you can also argue that she is the boss's favorite so she never really had to be tough... just play the position and dude got your career on auto pilot. I've seen that shit with my own eyes at work.
Also because she's the boss's favorite it will take a while to figure her out. Hell she's always in the room right there with them. Perfect alibis. She just gotta be smart but we know it won't play out that way cuz it's too easy. They need the drama and she's the Patsy. It's now clear that she's been planted there years ago. For this very purpose.
Wish we could a binged this shit man... Weekly eps is for weakly shows.

I agree that it was overly basic but shit moved on fast and dude got in her ass about it immediately which means it will play out in ways she has yet in her life to be tested/battle tested… at least that’s the hope right?

no drop off at all for me. Shit got deeper bigger wider more expansive and more intimate. Hard to ask for more in entertainment. No doubt some stitches* show - the possible issues with the double agent daughter and several others that may be coming soon lol. But it’s a fun one. 4sho! Very happy to have this in the rotation.
