Wow I knew the Zoe hate was coming in hot
Started watching this against my better judgement. Honestly, Jeff Bridges looks and sounds as if he’s as old as the Earth itself, fr.
Yo I love this show
@largebillsonlyplease
Remember that black spy brother project of yours i love much?
I just say the damn trailer in this episode.
word?
Yeah but all that noise is made and he jus goes to wide ass open window lolThere is scene of black Assassin clearing house...
That's the tone speed precision color style.
Right there.
Down to the surprise twist ending of that sequence
So last week's episode was the finale? Was looking to watch this yesterday on hulu
Damn ok. Gonna have to go back and rewatch it. So is the daughter really other dudes kidYeah, it gets a bit confusing with some of these episode runs. Mare of Easttown was 7 episodes too.

Should be a good eventual 2nd season.
Yeah, it’s tough keeping up with these episodic runs these days. 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 episodes, lol.
Bro I have no idea how they gonna do a season 2. But I would assume there are more sins these fathers and children gonna have to pay for
But I have no problem with an entire series of episodes that are straight flashback
They balance it well reminds me of Animal Kingdom
Agreed, hopefully sooner rather than later - just don’t rush it. But ... time is of the essence with older actors like JB and JL. Especially with the recent years of health scares for Bridges. I sent my 75yo dad a few articles and he appreciated his dedication to the acting craft. Noted he would have probably retired had he been in the same scary predicament.
I didn't want to say anything but your 100% right.
I like the balance
The very judicious use of his moments of violence work perfectly for the show story and character
Which benefits the fight choreography stunts effects etc
They can these legends act.
Then the burst of controlled chaos.
I'm thinking if possible film EVERYTHING now. Like you doing season 2 and 3. Make sure the younger versions are locked in contractually.
Keep this same fight and effects crew.
Just run it back.
Best story idea?
I would like to see who taught Chase to be a master Assassin.
How chase met Harper
Co-sign. Film a longer run of episodes and make it a bigger s2, or again shorter seasons for 2 and 3.
Good points about what you want to see.
It would be interesting to see their contracts. I’m sure they command big pay given their track records. Supporting cast all did a fine job too.
I don't see why more networks don't do that
You KNOW a hit when you see it.
Just tell them keep going.
Right now content is king.
3 seasons is a perfect number for a library.
Spread it out let people catch up easy.
Release around award season.
Get those actors locked up the casting was outstanding
I doubt they gonna really haggle over money.
This is serious work after a pandemic
Get the check the recognition do what you love go home.
No pressure. Nice schedule.
What more could you want?
Agreed. That was always a major network issue for many viewers. Canning seasons after 1 - 4 episodes. Huh!?
Meanwhile AMC, FX, Showtime and HBO actually allow series to build. They become critically acclaimed and drive more people to their platforms, even if they don’t win all the awards. People still talk about shows from 10 - 20 years ago, recommend to friends, etc. You have to allow shows to grow. And icing on the cake ... Netflix might pay big bucks for it in the future for syndication / streaming.
No wonder people let stuff from major networks pile up on their DVRs before getting invested, lol.
Facts
And there is a serious return to collecting physical media

^^^^
I would kill to hear an exec explain the logic of that???!
Your wasting everything.
And ok before streaming there was still syndication dvds VHS....
Why not just finish the season?
I understand contracts and just writing off the loss.
But in the end it's not smart
Like you said a lot of times the audience is LATE.
Seinfeld flopped the first season.
Imagine if they were dumb enough to cancel?
Yup. Definitely feel for all the people who lose their jobs before things even get going.
Just finish the season. Make some money with that 1-off collector’s edition dvd or bluray, haha.
Love it when shows like Breaking Bad build an audience over time. That word of mouth when people start talking! The dad from Malcolm in the Middle becomes Heinsenberg. What the fuck!?
Yeah - Seinfeld and more have become syndication staples. The amount of people who found The Office and Friends years later, etc.
