whats stopping anyone. the other dudes in his crew are just followers. if they cant stand up to Negan, then they can't stand up to anyone if he dies. Once Negan dies, what will the others do?
I imagine if Negan dies they start killing Rick and his people then they go back home and select a new leader

Actually Negan showing up before the week is over is pure genius, he is making sure nobody, especially Rick will try to mount up some sort of resistance to his demands.
