yeah i read the comics as well.......but they dont resemble that group at all.

Me too, i know since the beginning people have been dropping their lil hints about "when is Neagan gonna show up", and everytime they show a new unkonown guy they're like "i wonder if thats Neagan" but i hate his character and the story surrounding it. I could see if he was a side story but they made him the main character until last nights show

Never thought I would defend the emasculation of the black man but here goes:
When white people were savages and living in caves , we had universities.
Our people have always been and still is a compassionate race. You can turn on your news tonight and see how forgiving we always are. The show is a reflection of that truth.
Plus with the exception of Gabriel who creflo would probably actually behave like that, not one black male who been on the show is weak or incapable.
I actually applaud the show that portrays us as the ones not quick to be violent all the time.
Just think about it though... In real life we have a president who is kinda like that with who he hires.
The group wouldn't still be alive at this point if they did things Morgan's way. They would have let the Governor's group kill them.... And if they somehow survived that, then Gareth and crew would have eaten them. Remember when Gareth begged to be let go and rick/Sasha etc literally chopped them to pieces?
The governor would have killed Rick, but the rest of the group would have assimilated into Woodbury.
I just want at least one black man on the show to be Rick's equal, even if he isn't the leader....at least be enough to be his right hand man. Shane, Darryl, now Jesus....even Glen, not to mention Michone, Carol, Maggy.... They have all been or become strong characters who in Rick's absence could lead.
T-dog was useless when it comes to that, Tyrese from what I understand was supposed to be straight up Ganicus to Rick's Spartacus but on the show he turned into a a musclebound Dr/Mr. Smith (Lost in Space reference for old heads). Both dudes from the wire (can't remember names right now) don't fit that bill, Noah was a kid, and Heath showed promise but he is gone at least for now. Hopefully Ez eventually turns beast mode.

The way Rick did that little half smile before the screen went black, it seemed like maybe somebody he knew was in the group... but then in the coming attraction it seemed like maybe not. I was trying to think if there were any individuals friendly to his group that are still around out there, but outside of possibly Carol and the fat spanish guy from the first few episodes (that left the group with his family when they were leaving the mountain) everybody else is dead.

We saw carol go from a scared,skinny,abused housewife who never shot a gun to a survival expert one woman army.
We saw Glenn got from a pizza delivery kid to a badass who pulled one of the best looking women on the show.
We saw Carl go from a lil shy kid to a badass one eyed teenager who takes no shit.
Abraham has two of the finest chicks on the show fighting over him.
