The "g" in lasagna is NOT silent, its an Italian word, not an English word.
Consonant also are combined and they produce other sounds such as:

  • CH: The “ch” in the Italian word “anche” is pronounced like c as in cat.
  • GH: The “gh” in the Italian word “spaghetti” is pronounced like g as in got.
  • GN: The “gn” in the Italian word “signora” is pronounced like ny as in canyon.
I think it was a thinly veiled reference to the Mafia.

Shit is getting rediculous with the Wayne hate. Honestly fellas, if you think he's whack move on. But if you need spend hours of your time proving someone is whack, there's a problem. I could never see myself listening to a wacka flocka album pulling out the 60 worst lines to post them online. It's like Skip Bayless and Lebron. People going out of there way to dissect every word he says. It ain't that serious. To paraphrase Lebron, all the people who are hating on Wayne, will have their same problems tomorrow. So why spend so much time doing. It's just entertainment people.

I just don't think its possible for you guys to hate him any harder :dunno:

We get it. U don't like the nigga

Is it ever okay to say someone can't rap:confused:

The whole 'hate' shit is stupid because this is about his lyrics. If you motherfuckers can't even see the validity in saying his lyrics are bad then why waste your time commenting unless you are going to defend what he says and pointing out why it isn't wack.

So people can only comment on the things they like or can we not spend time commenting on anything at all:confused:

Word. Fuck all that shit. Why is it when we don't like something (or don't give something that is agreed upon the majority as bullshit a pass) we are called haters.....fuck what you heard, I don't have to LIKE everything. If that's the case then file me under as a Hating Ass Hater.....or H.A.H for short. :hmm:

i never bought a LW album and never will... however I did download the Carter something where he says" i came back around" that album was ok to me.... i never consider him in the realm of Jay-Z, Nas, Biggie, Eminem etc etc becuz i neva thought he had any legit lyrical ability and i still dont.... So I dont get upset about so called "whack lines etc etc from him" becuz thats what I expect from an average rapper who is overrated in every aspect of the word......! He raps for children and to me If u like LW u are a little just like his name..... GRown men listen to REAL MC's not gimmick corny little boys.....! Wayne has not shown any growth i listen to his albums and its all about da same crap its like he running on a treadmill fast as phugg..... And him trying to sing .. using autotune etc etc it just solidifies my point about the dude... just another Corny Gimmick rapper.... def not an MC big difference.....!

That lasagna line was sick. Why don't the person who wrote this just admit that it went over their head?

Trust me fam, I know how difficult it is trying to debate with a Wayne fan, that's why I just let them be, because you'll never be able to tell them that Weezy is anything except for GREAT.

I just had to make that comment tho, because there's no way in hell I'm gonna sit and type out his WORST rhymes from a cd full of them. And I'll say it again, I actually liked Tha Carter 4.

then i have to ask you why if its an album full or garbage?

you don't need thought provoking line after line but some of them need to make sense at least.

Not at all. I'm a fan, not a dick rider. When Wayne drops bullshit albums (500 Degreez, The Carter 3) I say it's a bullshit album. When he drops good albums (Lights Out, Carter 1 and 2) I say it's a good album.

I really only just noticed that as much as I like Wayne lyrics- and he can drop some excellent, fun, clever shit... I can't really say I'm into his shit like that.

I checked out THE CARTER 3 and I liked it, but he had waaaaay too many features on it. He starts out a concept of a song, like the lady cop one, it goes great, then he gets bored and puts some other rapper on there. He did that COUNTLESS times on that album, and I think thats a weak point for me. Ye, and Jay, both finish songs, which is a huge difference for a lot of rappers these days. Their albums are not their albums.

Wayne is king of this shit.

Honestly I haven't even checked this one out, more than hearing a few songs my neighbor plays, and I'm not impressed.

When did niggas start listening to albums that they don't like. I couldn't tell you 1 line from a rapper that I don't like. Never seen a successful artist get so much backlash in regards to the actual art.

If you couldn't tell from the shear amount of threads on this board alone, @hating wayne is "trending" these days. Kats that don't like him were some of the first to listen to the new joint in hopes that it failed. It was the same way when Carter III dropped. Most on here said it sucked. I know that I will be labeled as a "Stan" for saying it, but when was the last time you've seen any artisit get this much buzz for people to voice their dislike of them. The artist I don't like, I don't even bother listening too. I'm definately not trying to come up with 60 bad Gucci Man lines because I can't take him for that long. There's no denying that this album is Waynes first "major" let down. I think even his hardest fans are disappointed. Then that bullshit performance on MTV drove it home. I just hope Jay don't decide to kick him while he's down because this could be career ending.:smh:

So no one can just be a fan of hip hop and be critical of weak music in the artform? I mean Watch the Throne was criticized for it's weak spots... You can't even go into a Gucci Mane thread without people going hard on how wack he is. Also, in what world should I say I don't like an artist if I don't know their music. They may drop some shit that I like and I'll never kno...

How dare you actually listen to something close enough to determine if you like it then actually want to discuss it and have valid points.

 I swear I don't understand a world were you can't talk about what you don't like and people think something is wrong with you if your issues are specific and thoughtout. Shouldn't the question be about how could you like something and not have specific or thoughtout reasons why you like it or even enough of idea of why it is good in your opinion to discuss it with answers for the naysayers... and if it isn't that important to go that deep... why would you feel it necessary to post a generic "you hating" comment...:dunno:
