I'm not a journalist fam, so if that's what THEY do, then good for THEM.

I know that I will never waste time outta my life to write down what I think are some suck-ass lyrics just to see if people agree or disagree with me. If it sucks to you, why do you/they need confirmation.

Example: I know that regardless of what that character Lil B spits, it'll still suck ass, so you won't catch me writing down partial bars from him saying "here's Lil B's 60 worst lines" because chances are, I'll never bump his shit, EVER.

I was never a fan of "Richie Rich" but I think Richard is the father. So that's just another lyric that is simple as fuck, but it does make sense

for some reason i think a lot of those lines were free styled. I know Jay Z, Biggie and a few other legend have stated how they freestyle or "wrote on mental note pads" ....maybe Wayne is trying to do the same. if he is..then he needs to stop imo. Ive rotated a lot of those Carter songs over the last 5 days....production is crazy. some of his lyrics sound clever/odd...but a lot of the shit is mediocre and borderline wack.

Im actually a Wayne fan...got over 20 of his songs on my rotation..so NVM the hating niggas. But even if youre a Wayne fan you gotta keep it real...the shit is far from profound.

Even if it was freestyled, the beauty of making an album is that you can go back and rework that shit. This dude listened to it back and said it was cool...:smh:

only in the world of "what I do makes sense and if I don't agree it doesn't" logic that has us with this debate in the first place. I try not to knock anyone on how they want to spend their time because to me it seems like you smoke weed which i would consider the greatest waste of time but it's a side issue that isn't the main part of the argument.

The whole I don't write thing is also way out of hand. As a hip-hop fan if everyone i hear keeps saying some shit is hot i am going to listen to try and figure out what they're talking about. thus niggas listen to wack shit to understand why people say it ain't wack.

If you listen to what he said, technically he's right, in spite of the technical stuff you posted. He said REAL G's, and if you go with that, he's right. The "F" sound that the G & H causes you to make in "laugh", is not a REAL G sound. Same with lasagna.

I still stand by my previous statements.... I'll never waste time out of my life to write down a "Top 60 worst lines" list to something as insignificant as Tha Carter IV. I like it a lil bit, and that's all that matters to me

And as far as weed being a waste of time.... I never said that it wasn't a waste, but apparently, weed is something that I don't mind wasting my time on, seeing as how it doesn't control me, or effect my home life, my son, or my bills.... I'm on top of that.

It would be a contradiction if I were constantly complaining about Wayne and his lines that suck, which I'm not. I'm replying to the thread mainly because we're (you & I) having a debate about the situation that you quoted me on.

Don't get it twisted, I could have simply ignored you and kept it moving, but I chose to type back because after all, this is a message board, correct?

Plain and simple, you feel one way, and I feel another way, there's nothing wrong with that. We can't always agree on everything, nor would I want us too.

That was my point and i think this took everything off topic. point blank dude is wack creatively. He cannot make a song and even his punchlines are wack because he records too much and doesn't go back and pull the best from there.

This list could have been a "Top 60 list" of almost anything and I probably would've never said nothing about the time that was invested in composing it....

But this is Lil Wayne that we're talking about, we all know that he spits some bullshit on the regular like that's what he gets paid to do IMO. That's the reason why I said I would never waste my time listening to, rewinding, and composing a list of his worst lines.

That's much more different than me, you, and the rest of BGOL commenting back & forth. I have all the time in the world to converse with people, and build on certain things.

This is far from lazy. Is it bad, yes but number 4 is far fetched compared to the rest.
