I don't know if we have mentioned this but Supernatural has already been confirmed to be coming back for Season 13... which is crazy when you think about it.

To put this show in perspective... Jenson signed on to this show right after Dark Arrow was Cancelled. Just let that sink in.

Always wished their dad was apart of more episodes. I always liked the dynamic between the 3. Guess they will follow up with the death chasing Mary next season. This show keeps finding something in their back pocket to keep it going.

The kid will be an omnipotent being born with all the knowledge of the universe he will be able to do anything he wants.

Btw god don't give a fuck, we are some toys he made because he was bored.

But this is a changed Chuck.. he's got his Sister back. He can care.

I am curious though... especially if this child is born and it has the power to remake the universe.... Would the show have the balls to explore the final huge mystery... what came before the Darkness. We know Darkness was the other sibling but the show kind of glossed over what lead to the creation of God to form the balance between the Darkness and the Light. So that kind of implies another entity out there.

There's still a bunch of other mysteries out there but that one would be kind of cool.

What I ike about this show is that they dont deal with any of that spirituality crap. God is basically a highly advanced alien who created us. He didnt create the balance, he and his sister were created at the same time and he is the light and she is the darkness and I doubt either of them know how they came into existence. Btw the half breed is powerful but they never said it was that powerful to recreate the universe.[/QUOTE]

Supernatural boss previews the 'most meta finale we've ever done'

‘There are some twists coming that we’ve never done before,’ Andrew Dabb tells EW

DEAN BUSCHER/THE CW

In the final two episodes of Supernatural‘s 12th season — airing back-to-back on Thursday — Sam and Dean face off against two major foes: the British Men of Letters and Lucifer. And even though the episodes are standalone stories, showrunner Andrew Dabb sees the two-hour slot as an opportunity. “We’re wrapping a lot of things up and certain plot lines will be ended this season — some forever and some temporarily — but also, that allows us to build up steam going into season 13,” Dabb says. “Coming out of the finale, people will have a pretty good idea of where things are going.”

When it comes to Supernatural, most finales can fall into one of two categories: Something that very directly affects the Winchesters (Dean becomes a demon; one of them ends up in hell) or something that affects, well, the entire world (the angels are falling; the Darkness is released). When season 12 ends, Dabb hopes they’ve created a finale that’s a bit of both. “There are some things that happen that impact strongly and directly on the boys, while at the same time, we are starting a new chapter in the show, [though] not in a way of erasing what’s come before,” Dabb says. “I think it’s something that will be a natural progression of what we’ve done but also cool and different and hopefully give us a lot of energy going into season 13.”

But what is happening in the finale isn’t the only draw. There’s also the matter of how it’s happening. Like some of the best episodes before it, this one will get a little meta. “Finales, by definition, can’t go too crazy,” Dabb says. “But I will say this: It’s by far the most meta finale we’ve ever done. There are some twists coming that we’ve never done before.”

Supernatural‘s season finale airs Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.

The fact that Supernatural hasn't won any major awards...

ESPECIALLY Jensen?

Proves just how meaningless these awards really are.
I think most of the credit goes to the producers and stars. The only reason it is still on is because of its fan base which isn't really that big. They probably make more from syndication than what CW is paying them.
