He wanted to be paid the same as the star, which he wasn't getting.
And you know Terry is arrogant so I'm almost positive he went in making the demand for more money versus trying to work something out.
So he got the boot, and now Don is getting more than what Terry asked.

it's much better. i stopped Jamie show at episode 4. I'm already up to 9 on this one. It wont become a classic, but its worth watching.

Tichina Arnold, her TV work surpasses Campbell's and actually puts her up there with Gibbs and Fields. If her current show The Neighborhood stays on for a few more years she may become the most successful Black actress in TV history.
Martin has never been at the center of any show she was on. Another one for consideration is Anna Maria Horsford.

I read the summary for the show an thought ain't no way I'm watching that bs... but I watched 1 ep and it turned into 3 before I turned it off. I like it, its over produced though cause that laugh track took a while for me to get used too and how some of the scenes are shot look weird.

King has had some nice success in TV, but not enough to compete with Fields, Gibbs, or Arnold. That may change depending on how much longer Watchman stays on.
Because RR is voiced by someone who's put in more work than Don and his character along with Groot carried the GOTG movies.
It's like asking why Sébastien Stan isn't getting paid as much as Chris Evans.
Put some respect on Don Cheadle's name he has starred and co-stared in some very successful and classic shows.
He has, and it's still eclipsed by the popularity of RR.
Which is why they told Terry to step off as someone with his acting chops could easily replace him.
