It's worth a look. Interesting mix of sci-fi, comedy and drama as the write-up below notes.
Unique role for Ray Romano as well - he plays odd and eccentric, and we mostly know him for his TV sitcom dad past.
My fave moments were those of notable tension / suspense.
Made for Love is an American science fiction black comedy-drama television series based on the 2017 novel of the same name by creator Alissa Nutting. The series premiered on HBO Max on April 1, 2021.[1] It stars Cristin Milioti, Billy Magnussen and Ray Romano. In June 2021, the series was renewed for a second season which premiered on April 28, 2022.[2][3] Despite positive response to the series, in June 2022, the series was canceled after two seasons following the merger of HBO Max's parent company WarnerMedia with Discovery, Inc. to become Warner Bros. Discovery.[4][5] It was removed from HBO Max in December 2022.[6]
After a woman escapes from a suffocating 10-year marriage to a tech billionaire, she discovers her husband had her fitted with a tracking device. The device, which he implanted in her brain, allows him to track her location, watch her live, and know her "emotional data" as she tries to regain her independence.

Really good season of TV on the whole. Finished it yesterday evening. Would usually check out an episode or two every few days.
The sign of a good series too? Pops and coworkers have been asking me if it's renewed for a 2nd season. Pops doesn't follow this genre of TV & movies, but loved the show and assorted characters. Coworker is only 4 eps in and wants to know if it's coming back in the future.
I'm tempted to recommend the series to my mom too & it's not her thing either, but she could appreciate the characters & acting performances, and she's in her mid-70s, lol.
