I binged this last night.

I went into it thinking how the fuck they gonna stretch this concept out to a series, I thought that it would seem better if it was a 2 hour movie. But they pulled it off right.

I'm not going to give any spoilers, just some general info.

The series is from Belgium and Netflix has it dubbed in English. It is only 6 episodes at 40 minutes and you can binge it one afternoon.

The SHTF 5 minutes into episode one and proceeds from there. All the major characters are introduced in episode 1. Episodes 2 thru 6 is character development and they do it with quick flashback stories of them just before boarding the flight. They only do a handful of passengers, they will do the rest in later seasons.

All the passengers and crews have prior drama which affects their behavior and performance. The quick flashbacks give you a general perspective on their characters.

If you like a lot of suspense, check it out.

watched this last night based on y'all suggestions

1st episode wife and i were like.."this is cool but kinda silly, but fuck it...lets continue"

by the end of episode 2 we both screaming at the TV and she's clutching my arms for dear life....we got maad invested, ended up finishing the season in one season.

very entertaining and engaging

Slam - did you ever watch Freaks and Geeks back in the day? That was a good show ... aired 20 years ago. Linda co-starred on that one. Time flies. Shame they cancelled it back then with less than a season aired.

Freaks and Geeks is an American teen comedy-drama television series created by Paul Feig and executive-produced by Judd Apatow that aired on NBC during the 1999–2000 television season. The show follows gifted high schooler Lindsay Weir, who befriends a gang of slacker "freaks", and her younger brother Sam, as he and his geek friends navigate high school. Eighteen episodes were completed, but the series was canceled after only 12 had aired.[1] A fan campaign persuaded NBC to broadcast three of the remaining episodes in July 2000, with the rest of the unaired episodes airing that fall[2] on Fox Family Channel.[3]

The series has appeared in numerous lists of the greatest television shows of all time, including lists by Time, Entertainment Weekly and TV Guide. It launched several of its young actors' careers, such as James Franco, Seth Rogen, Jason Segel, Busy Philipps, John Francis Daley, Martin Starr, and Linda Cardellini.[4]

Dragon ball z Season 1 and 2 Uncut (FUNIMATION channel)

 Im flying through these episodes. I keep saying to myself to watch only a certain numbers of episodes, but end up watching 5 or more episodes. I can see why this was a big deal when it hit the states. I didnt pay this no attention when I first saw this, because of the long drawn out fights. But I can tolerate it now because I can just skip episodes. If it gets to ridiculous.

Barry on HBO is a really great dark comedy. Was surprised by it. 30 mins an episode with some surreal moments filmed and acted exceptionally well. Follows an assassin who decides to change careers abruptly. Hijinks ensue.

Don't watch any trailers, all these trailers give too much away these days.

Line of Duty on AMC
Pretty good even when it's slow

Castle Rock Season 1 on Hulu
The story pulled me in but by episode 7 the show becomes extremely slow and the conclusion
was just so so

Cooked With Cannabis on Netflix
First off Kelis looks amazing...what a figure !
but this is a fast moving fun cooking show as Cannabis lovers and cooks get together
to judge who cooks it the best with great looking dishes

Bill Hader's living the life. Had a good run on SNL for years. Branched off to an award-winning series in Barry, and is currently dating petite MILF Rachel Bilson.

Troy: Fall of a city on Netflix is good. I know I am late, but white folks was trippin because Achilles and Zeus are played by black characters. Lol. So those Bamas gave out a lot of negative reviews, but if you read the comments you can tell they were just mad because of black actors playing such pivotal characters. Folks that know about Greek methodology got in their shit and got all historical on they ass concerning the color of people in that region during that time period. Lol. Anyway, I gave it a shot and wasn’t disappointed but I know why the wights were mad and gave out shitty reviews. Fuck’em! Good show. I binged it all day.

Any classic / well-reviewed series from the past 20 years you've been meaning to check out? Ones that you've never gotten around to, but know that people have recommended them over and over ...

I'm finishing up the 3rd season of StartUp. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/StartUp_(TV_series)

A nice combination of tech adventures mixed with violence.

Sounds good.

StartUp is an American web television drama series created by Ben Ketai that premiered on September 6, 2016 on Crackle. The series stars Adam Brody, Edi Gathegi, Otmara Marrero, Martin Freeman, Ron Perlman, Addison Timlin, and Mira Sorvino. On November 15, 2017, the series was renewed for a third season which was released on November 1, 2018.

StartUp follows "the emergence of GenCoin, a brilliant yet controversial tech idea centered on digital currency — an idea that gets incubated on the wrong side of the tracks by three strangers who don’t necessarily fit the mold of 'tech entrepreneurs' and a crooked FBI agent who will go to any lengths to take them down."[1]

This Vikings show is damn good. I'm already on Season 5, these period pieces trip me out. It makes you think about how far humans have advanced civilly and technologically.

Snowpiercer is set seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, and the remnants of humanity inhabit a gigantic, perpetually moving train that circles the globe. Class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival are questioned in this riveting television adaptation.
