Why else would he "relinquish" his belt right before this match? Because he knew he would HAVE to go through Jones again.DC knows he cant beat Jon Jones

I feel what you saying BUT who was Winning before the head kick doe playaI agree to a certain point with yall comments
the fight to me was even. But what was unique is that
DC boxing/hands looks more crisp, precise & power and he was damaging Jones face
but Jones kickboxing was better. Jones low, front, side and oblique kicks
was doing damage as well.
Stephen A still struggling with football!!ESPN really should work them in along with Ariel and Chael. They don't have enough people there currently that can do the job. If they
start bringing Stephen A into the mix, I'm literally going to fly to the headquarters beat the shit out of someone
Judges gifted him that shit, but yeah Dillashaw gonna put his ass to sleep.
That will make it even worse for her. The point is, Nunes was going to come forward with those bricks no matter what. Cyborg coming in hard and sloppy just made it easier for her Amanda. It's no fun when the rabbit got the gun. Cyborg is the big strong bully. But she's never been in there 1, with someone that can match her as far as k.o. ability..and 2..someone that's not afraid or ready to go home as soon as they get hit other than Evinger, but she has little skillIn the rematch Cyborg will play it more cautious. She'll take her time and not rush in over aggressive.
They already brought him in on BoxingStephen A still struggling with football!!
Better not involve himself in MMA
Buster Douglas/Tyson type shit!
Fueled by coke and white womens
The LT of this fight shit
They already brought him in on Boxing
hopefully, since HBO closed shop, they will get Max in there and cut the foolery. But unfortunately Stephen A must bring ratings, because they use him on every show except hockeyhe's the worst...rather them put Kellerman there....too much yelling for my liking

He's a great fighter but he should keep his mouth shut when it comes to Jones. Just my opinion. A lot of the time he talks like he won either of the fights...Cormier has gotten off some good verbal jabs at Jon. He just needs to know when to stop talking. He can talk too much at times and come off like a whiny chick.
I almost threw upYeah, it took longer than that for Cyborg to tuck in her nuts.
SAS aint bad for layman but Kellerman should be available now that HBO is done with boxing
i enjoyed the arguements between teddy & SAS after the 1st GGG vs Canelo fight
you the only one
Jones and Cormier are arguably the best 2 to ever fight 205, Cormier has never lost to anyone but Jones and Jones resume is question due to pissing dirty
this is the only fight most ufc fans want to see in 2019
I feel what you saying BUT who was Winning before the head kick doe playa
Jones has zero knockout power in his hands. His leg kicks, elbows and headkicks have kept food on the table when he hasn't been able to get people to the ground. To bad he's a fuck up outside of the cage. He has still been acting cocaine-ish this whole fight week
I was responding to something else. Most likely something to do with the fact that Gus got hurt by the kicks and that allowed him to get taken down, which never happened in the first fight and he could do work because Jones has to get closer for the elbows and clinch work. The punches are nothing for Gus to worry about..it's not about downing Jones for having light hands. It doesn't matter. The fact he can throw elbows easy and mix in kicks shows you he knows his striking distance along with his opponent. I'm a muay thai practitioner for 7 years now and if you master your distance you will be a problem.
People are obsessed about have knockout power (heavyhands). If you can pick apart someone with high, middle and low attacks without "power" it will be a problem, trust me. I rather have fast hands than "knockout" power. This is something I've been working on for the last year and a half.
Cyborg didn't respect her power, and it cost her.
Yeah, looks like cyborg's whole idea of defense was I'm tougher than you and you can't possibly hurt me....cause so far in the octagon that had been true. By the time she figured out how hard Amanda could hit, it was too late.
As lopsided as this was, I really hope to see a rematch because a cautious cyborg vs Nunes would be real interesting.
Lol he dont like that nigga that's why. Plus he mainly mad that he keep calling himself the LW champ. He know if he went up to HW and took that title too its kinda like picking on that dude at that point.lol what a bitch. Jon aint going up to heavyweight, but he's calling out DC.
Nunes can strike with a lot men. She has great hands.
In the rematch, the same thing will happen. Amanda is too strong and has great precision.
Not gonna lie, I got a little emotional. Kinda like when Thug Rose beat Joanna.
Congrats to Amanda and to Cyborg for her sportsmanship.
What's that say about Rousey now that we saw Cyborg get beat down by the same girl just a few secs after?Really slick submission by Ryan Hall over BJ Penn. BJ had been looking good during the prior part of that round too. Wish BJ had retired long ago though as his legacy takes a big hit with all the losses.
Major respect to Nunes. Moving up a weight division and trading firepower with Cyborg. Wow. The party erupted when she pulled that off. Beating Cyborg and Rousey convincingly in under 1 minute each, Tate in 3 minutes, the 2 wins over Schevshenko, etc. She's legit!
Good win by Jones over Gus'. Gus' is definitely the gatekeeper in that division, as the TOP GUYS definitely have his number (Jones x 2, DC, Johnson prior to his retirement).
Enjoyed that Volkanovski-Mendes fight leading off the main card.
Really unfortunate for Zingano with that injury in the prelim with Andersen. Did that toe catch her eye & eyelid? She had that cut on her right eyelid ... damn ... fight was just getting started too.
Good submission win from Chiesa over Condit. Hope Condit retires soon too ... he's racking up the losses at this point. Lawler, Maia, Magny, Chiesa, etc.
What's that say about Rousey now that we saw Cyborg get beat down by the same girl just a few secs after?
Yeah - what a crazy feat for Nunes. Getting them BOTH out of there in under a minute apiece. No wonder Rousey was ducking Cyborg. She knew she would get wrecked. Little did we know some years later Nunes would move up 10lbs and style on Cyborg herself, of all people. Crazy sport. MMA math is tough to predict.
Side note ... just saw Hall's big KO win on the early Fight Pass prelims on the Fox after show. Happy for Hall. He's had his ups/downs over time. Good fighter though.
Who does Jones fight next? The UFC on Fox panel suggested (think it was Bisping) ...
- Jones vs. Cormier at heavyweight
- Jones vs. Anthony Smith at light heavyweight next July at UFC's International Fight Week wherein they usually do 2 - 3 cards over a 2-3 day stretch
Personally I'm not too excited for DC-Lesnar, or DC-Jones 3?
DC would clearly beat Lesnar, and Jones would undoubtedly beat DC.
