Jamal wasn't impressed by either fighter. I agree. I see Jamal taking down Pereira.

That will be the fight that I'm most wanting to happen in 2024. Might be the first time I bet on an MMA match.

I know Jamal will be an underdog in that fight.

Definitely an interesting fight, if he can get him down it's a wrap, if they have to stand and bang i can see an easy W for Alex

I meant to put this clip in my post about Jamal.

I think Jamal gets him standing up too!

Idk man, Jamal's stand up is no where near as clean as Alex, those sneaky hard ass leg kicks are game changers, but either way I'm hype for this, especially since Izzy got embarrassed and retired by Sean Strickland and turned down the challenge from Alex.

After those hellbows to the temple Jiri's body shut off, lost his hold and fell back, that's when the ref jumped in rightfully so. He could've kept going after the follow up shots woke him up but that's not what the ref is there for. Health and safety of the fighters, back to back concussions don't wait for the 3rd.

I agree, I think Jamal is too much for Poatan. I do fear that left hand of Poatan sneaking in.

Dude did not want to be a sore loser.
He also got knocked out, twice in one sequence and admitted it in his in ring interview, I'll take him at his word. He could have said the refs job is to protect the fighter, and the ref did his job, he could have said an number of things but he said "I was out" if you're out, then it's over. Simple as.

Even though her striking was bad, she was tagging dude pretty good on the chin, just didn't have any defense at all!!!
She reminds me of Juliana Pena, poor technique with the high elbow punching and zero head movement like they went to the Ronda Rousey school of striking. It eventually finds it's target but leaves them wide open against real strikers.

And it's not a punch like a girl thing because there are beast like Schevchenko, Joanna Champion, Rose Namajuanas and Zhang Weili with excellent technique.

Izzy good. Take the next three years off enjoy his money, have some babies, heal, gain muscle the right way and dominate the light heavyweight/heavyweight division.
Izzy isn't a young guy, he doesn't have that kind of time, if he really stays away until 2027 like he said then his legacy will be a guy who was retired by Sean Strickland. Not a good look at all. He needs to stop fucking around, his skill set doesn't translate well to longevity, he depends a lot on fast response and godly reflexes. Izzy has zero wrestling or grappling skills so idk if he should wait until 37 to come back, MMA evolves quickly. He's a naturally lean guy and lhw and he are just not for him.

It makes him look like a coward for not wanting to rematch Alex and instead getting dominated by Strickland, then turning down Alex's challenge at LHW.

I don't think he wants any part of Alex at a higher weight class

Good points. Izzy is not afraid of any man, he's literally one of the best fighters on the planet. He's also one of the smartest, whatever he has planned will be in his best interest. Naija no dey carry last.
