Just the facts that he admitted to are bad...

Dude has a problem. He'll be getting massages he's not allowed to get by the end of the year.

I can pretty much guarantee you that the majority of those woman only filed suits became the laywer told them they could get a check.
His line of questioning did Watson contact you
Ladies: yes
Lawyer: did he ask you to give him a massage
Ladies: yes
Did he ask you to touch him: yes, well I didn't really mind
Lawyer: listen chick just answer yes, I don't need to know all that other stuff..lol
Ladies: well why not?
Lawyer: do you want a check or not?

The reason Watson settled is the same reason Corporations do even if they know they are right. To just get people to get the fuck on. Those woman didn't really make out, tho it was a group I guarantee you the lawyer negotiated each of their settlements individually & he got a nice % of each check..lol

Then you have Robert Kraft's cracker ass getting caught in a sting, with video of evidence with a prostitute breaking the law & nothing happens. Though they also have proof that he visited that "massage parlor" on a bunch of other occasions.

That's Deshaun admitting this chick was crying after a session and then he texted her apologizing.

So unless Deshaun is setting himself up, he did something in a massage session that made a masseuse cry then apologized.

Sorry about you feeling uncomfortable. Never were the intentions. Lmk if you want to work in the future. My apologies,”

So Deshaun admits he knew she was uncomfortable, knew she was crying and apologized. That doesn't sound like a woman enjoying being nutted on.

You notice I didn't say all of the cases were chicks just looking for a come up.

I farted one time when I was getting a massage..lol Now I know that made the lady feel real uncomfortable (I had tacos for lunch that day.)..lol She should have put her elbow in my damn back like that...lol

Also .... Kats talking about no evidence...

really need to stop...

Evidence that is not enough to support a CRIMINAL CHARGE of Sexual Assault vs. Evidence that is enough to support a civil claim are two different things.

The fact that the Judge said that "Watson must get all of his massage therapy from the team" ..... is the craziest shit.

Just read this Memo...

So the Judges decision was based only on the record... There were 24 filed lawsuits... 60 massage therapists and in a 15 month period .. The NFL's team of former prosecutors only interviewed 12 women from the 24 filed lawsuits. You are telling me... only 12 woman were willing to talk.... :rolleyes2: and from those 12... the NFL only relied on the conclusions of 4 woman!!!

Then According to the NFL's own people WATSON"used his status as an NFL player as a pretext to engage in a premeditated pattern of predatory behavior toward multiple women.” --- THIS IS FROM THE NFL

Also from the report ... this is again from the NFL

"When he turned over on his back, it is alleged that Mr.Watson exposed his erect penis and purposefully contacted the therapists’ hands and arms multiple times with his erect penis. One of the therapists alleges that Mr.Watson not only contacted her arm multiple times, but that he ejaculated on her arm. There is no allegation that Mr.Watson exerted any force against any of the therapists." (THIS IS AGAIN.. Just 4 of the 24 woman)

Also from the Report:

" Finally, I find that the NFL has produced sufficient circumstantial evidence to prove the last prong of the test, that Mr.Watson knew such sexualized contact was unwanted." I find the evidence sufficient to demonstrate that Mr.Watson knew, or should have known, that any contact between his penis and these therapists was unwanted. -- For those throwing out "There wasn't evidence

So the NFL wanted Watson to be suspended for the entire year...

The NFL has recommended that Mr.Watson be suspended for at least the entire 2022 NFL regular and post-season and not be permitted to return unless he satisfies any conditions imposed for reinstatement. According to the NFL, if this recommended sentence is unprecedented(as characterized by Mr.Watson and the NFLPA), that is because his conduct is unprecedented. The NFL’s reasoning is reflected in the following testimony of one of its investigators: “[E]ven with just the four [women],I think we haven’t had someone who over the course of a year-plus time . . . [committed] sexual assault against four different people, and he uses, again, invokes the league in some ways of doing so. That in and of itself is unprecedented. . . .”42

Ok Now I see the problem and why she decided 6 games.... "RAY RICE"

The NFLPA responds, first, by relating the history of the Policy and discipline imposed under the Policy. Prior to the NFL’s disciplinary action against Ray Rice in 2014, there were no standards differentiating violent conduct from other prohibited conduct, and a 2-game suspension was the prevailing ceiling established by precedent. When Commissioner Goodell followed such precedent despite the violence of Rice’s conduct, a public outcry ensued. The NFL responded by revising its Policy to include a presumptive 6-game suspension without pay for certain first-time violent offenders, including for Policy violations involving: (1) criminal assault or battery (felony);(2) domestic violence, dating violence, child abuse and other forms of family violence; or (3) sexual assault involving physical force or committed against someone incapable of giving consent.44 By revising its Policy, the NFL gave fair notice to its players and to the public of the probable consequencesof certain violent conduct.

A demonstrative exhibit used during the hearing indicates that since the revisions to the Policy (from 2015 to date), by far the most commonly-imposed discipline for domestic or gendered violence and sexual acts is a 6-game suspension. Only two players have been suspended for 8 games, one for multiple incidents of domestic violence and the second for the assault of multiple victims. A single player has been suspended for 10 games, for multiple incidents of domestic violence for which the player pled guilty to battery.

This conclusion is crazy.... i get her point, but to focus on a he gets a pass cause this is a NON-VIOLENT Sexual assault is a Horrible line and is going to be problem for the NFL. But her point is right... the NFL is trying to impose a new type of punishment without fair notice to the players.

The Conclusion

The NFL may be a “forward-facing” organization, but it is not necessarily a forward-looking one. Just as the NFL responded to violent conduct after a public outcry, so it seems the NFL is responding to yet another public outcry about Mr.Watson’s conduct. At least in the former situation, the Policy was changed and applied proactively. Here, the NFL is attempting to impose a more dramatic shift in its culture without the benefit of fair notice to - and consistency of consequence for - those in the NFL subject to the Policy

Looking at the record when compared to the relevant precedent, and looking forward to how this disciplinary determination might be used in the future, I find the most appropriate landing place to be as follows:

1 Mr.Watson is hereby suspended for six (6) regular-season games without pay. Although this is the most significant punishment ever imposed on an NFL player for allegations of non-violent sexual conduct. Mr. Watson’s pattern of conduct is more egregious than any before reviewed by the NFL.

2 Recognizing that the only discipline mentioned in the CBA is a fine or suspension.I nevertheless believe it appropriate for Mr.Watson to limit his massage therapy to Club directed sessions and Club-approved massage therapists for the duration of his career, and so impose this mandate as a condition to his reinstatement. (This is really just a slap in the face and almost reads like satire)

FUN FACT ---- this judge definitely through MASSIVE SHADE against the NFL and how it treated Robert Kraft in the footnote.

"I note in this regard that the Policy is equally applicable to players and team owners and management. The NFLPA questions whether it is “fair and consistent” to severely punish Mr.Watson for his non-violent sexual conduct and not even charge various team owners who have been accused of similar or worse conduct." NFLPA brief at 12-14. (I do agree with this part)

And I'm out... Just wanted to drop my opinion after reading the memo...

To sum is up..

  1. Watson admitted to wanted happy endings and used the fact that he was in the NFL for more Rub and Tugs
  2. Nfl agrees that 4 out of the 12 women didn't want the happy endings.
  3. The Judge found that there was enough evidence to support that he committed sexual assaults against at least the "4" out of 24 women.
  4. But the judge found that she was bound by the NFL previous policy with players and sexual assault ...
  5. Even though she agrees that Watson's case is a first for the NFL.

So my take is that since she only had 4 cases to review... she looked at the length of suspensions for players in similar boats and did not factor in the 24 total women cause the NFL only provided information and documents from 4.

Read my above post...

I tried to break down the report for those claiming that there wasn't evidence ...

Only reason he only got Six games and not more is because the NFL hasn't punished a first time non-violent sexual assault offender for that much..

Thanks for the excellent summary and breakdown. I slightly disagree on the sentencing rationale though. Seems like the judge was focused on disparate punishments for similar conduct rather than notice, although I would concede that the concepts are intertwined to some extent. More to your point, the message was "follow your own policy."

Personally, I like the outcome. I'm obviously defense oriented, but I believe that a lot of masseuses, like a lot of murder victims, aren't all that "innocent." When the "victim" list goes from 24 to 4 once you start testifying under oath, one could reasonably conclude that we aren't talking black and white, but shades of gray. Bottom line for me-what they did to Kap still pisses me off. This, not so much.

What's funny is Watson didn't have any charges brought against him at all. He settled in a civil case like most people who are rich do, he already sat out a whole season and some people still want him to be suspended for a whole year? Lol Bullshit! No way the league would have gotten away with suspending him for a year with him not being convicted of anything.

actually doesn’t say anything…. This is a collectively bargained issue… this is civil. this isn’t a criminal case…

i need Kats to just read the memo.

but I’m leaving this thread…

im not going to talk law in here…

just wanted to state my breakdown on how she got to her 6 games opinion.

she basically found there was a evidence but the only reason why she didn’t give a stiffer penalty is for what I stated. I don’t agree with the 6 based on the allegations but I also get the 6 after reading the memo.

What I don’t get is how they only talked to 12 of the 24 women that filed suit and then only really 4 from the 12. If there was an allegation of this nature and you knew there were likely 60 women.. why not try and interview the 60 women… this just seems like a half hazard investigation.

any way I’m out.

That's what he did

Stop acting like he did that shit in a public setting and not when he was messing around with a IG/Onlyfans hoe. Add context bro Watson is a nigga if they had any tangible proof he broke any laws his ass would have got indicted by the FIRST grand jury. What is BGOL coming to?

I would bet you a shitload of money that the ones they didn't talk to declined interviews and DEFINITELY refused to testify under oath. What were they going to say when the questioning turned to their usual practices during a massage and whether they ever included happy endings. I know there is case law excluding prior sexual behavior but that case law is very case specific, and this was not a trial. Them heauxs knew what was coming.

He's definitely a nasty nigga but he didn't break any laws; or there was not enough evidence for the prosecutor or grand jury to charge him. So basically he just embarrassed his employer(NFL); that's why I don't agree with 6 games. 4 games to me...

There was no question about those players guilt. And they were punished by the league. Watson has maintained his innocence the whole time and was suggested a 6 game suspension by an independent judge. Not the league. People to keep in mind that this is not the leagues, but and independent parties ruling. RogerG can still appeal and add more games. I honestly think they should accept the judge ruling and move on.

Add context let's cut the bullshit. The nigga wasn't whipping out his dick at a Chipotle or a Target, if was a "
massage" session where all kind of freaky shit happens stop leaving out critical context.

And
1) she wouldn't be my girl if she was into the massage scene for other dudes like that but good for her getting her money

2) if my mom was in that lifestyle/profession that's her business

Stop acting like this nigga was a public flasher that's not what happened and you know it.
