Lol, for real though, it's not a focus on the left. It's just one of the few things (along with any proof of him engaging with epstein aged girls) that he'd flip out about and it's a funny thing to think about. I haven't heard it brought up much in the last couple years. I can't think of a whole lot outside of that type shit that would make him shake on his boots after being given immunity and every branch of government.

I'll just say this. People keep talking about how Democrats need to take lessons from the Republicans.
Republicans would 100 percent shut the government down if the roles were reversed. They'd already have their first few days of promo material ready to distribute.
Democrats have no reason or bearing to try and negotiate with the GOP. What else is left to lose here?
It all flows downhill. I don't even have a federal job, and I still feel like my normally very secure position may not be as secure as it was. If the federal government gets away with it, what's to stop any agency or industry from doing the same? you attacked the most secure level of employment, placing pretty much any other work security into flux.

I met with some of my team members and they are concerned. I was honest with them and told them not to get comfortable.
One just moved and got a new child. I wanted to give him some reassurance, but I would be lying. I told him to stay on his toes and build skills relevant to today's new norm.

Also esp down in the DMV. Everyone knows someone who has a govt job.
And a lot of folks will have to take from their discretionary income to help family.....friends....etc.
That means the new car that someone was about to purchase gets pushed back 8 - 10 months because that person has to help their brother with their car note cause they lost their job or got an unaffordable pay cut.

How are you going to ask for a raise if you’re grateful to have a job? If money is god and you’re without a job, how do you think you’re being faithful to your God?
This is a war against labor but I don’t think we have figured it out. Labor hasn’t figured out they’re experiencing Pearl Harbor every week. Imagine fight or flight and having your neural impulses cut the fuck off? Labor is in the Sunk Place.
Yup and you know folks in the DMV love to go out to eat so I’m sure it’s going to have an impact on restaurants and bars.
