I used to have 2full bookcases of books, many that got missing somewhere when I moved apartments, I still get mad thinking about it,
my weekends were spent on 125th mart as a kid when Sara suten seti/shaka ahmose/Sa neter etc used to setup outside etc mart125 & go off, thats where I bought a lot of my books, Sa neter was still wheeling books & dvds on a handtruck
& the Trinidadian rasta had a bookstand across from tower/virgin records store on 125.. these are my childhood memories , of seeing Dr Khalid ,many elders & ancestors, like Dr Clarke & sitting around Dr Ben at PanPan restaurant, when Wesley Snipes had his AmenRa production events at the Apollo..all this as a kid in Harlemso imagine a braindead selfhating hatecultist posting a video clip of 2 social media content creators making a video to get engagements reactions & clicks & thinkin somehow he could make me feel lesser than the godbody I am for associating with Africa while tryin to prop up euro yt America world reality.. he fkd with the wrong one

Woodson, Eldridge Cleaver and a host of others.
I was blessed with a mama who from pre-school age began to take me to the library as a treat (I wish every Black parent would do that with their babies- it’s invaluable) and signed me up to get new books in the mail every month. That’s how my love for reading developed.
