It's not 1992 no more. Most of these teams have several NBA players. Canada has 9 alone. In 92, there were 3 total in the Olympics on an NBA roster. When you're playing plumbers asking for your autograph every night you should win by 40. But the competition today is waaaaaay better and more skilled, so some games will be close. Anybody can get hot for a game and make it interesting. The idea that if we don't win by 30 every game is based off how weak the Dream Teams comp was. Prior to them, nobody expected our teams to win by 30 every game.
It's only right. LeBron's brand has always been more patriotic and more invested in community than Mike and Kobe's. He should be the first.
