My heroes are Congressman Adam Clayton Powell Jr. (D-NY) and Rep Cynthia McKinney (D-GA) who went to Congress not to "go-along-to-get-along" but to "shake up the status quo." Both paid the price for being outspoken relative to advancing Black folx causes by losing their seats to "go-along-to-get-along -- more docile --
