Will is a broken man. If you listen to his speech that is pain and trauma overflowing.

But as Black men we don't allow each other to be hurt.

"I don't love no bitch"
"I don't give a fuck about anything or any body"

The muthafucka just snapped.

You're saying Will snapped, I disagree Will just hit a Grand Slam. Regardless of anything we've heard about Will and Jada, Sunday night made it clear why they've clocked so much time together.

As for that lame joke Chris told, it was in poor taste, an Chris got what he deserved IMO.

Very true!
I wouldn't call it sensitive in all cases
if you went to a comedy thing and a white dude said nothing but n with the hard er you wouldn't be sensitive for saying I don't wanna hear that bullshit
How are we going from GI Jane to the N word?

It was a bad joke, and Jada Palpatine force choked Will into an assult.

Bitch can take a dick, but not a joke. I disagree bro. Maybe if he asked her what you doing next August? Or is Jaden getting to be the new Spiderman cause you was entangled with Kevin Feigie?

Too sensitive.

Rebel Wilson's Crack About Will and Jada Pinkett Smith Relationship Returns

BY SHIRA LI BARTOV
3/29/22 AT 1:14 PM EDT

https://www.newsweek.com/rebel-wils...kett-smith-relationship-returns-1692930?amp=1

A clip of actress and comedian Rebel Wilson deriding Will Smith's marriage earlier this month is going viral, as viewers who saw Smith slap Chris Rock on stage at the Oscars look for clues to explain the shocking outburst.

On March 13, Wilson hosted the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) in London, where Smith won the Leading Actor award for his performance in King Richard—the same film that won him the Best Actor Oscar on Sunday. Before he received the Oscar, a joke from presenter Chris Rock about Jada Pinkett Smith's shaved head—the result of her battle with alopecia—prompted her husband to storm on stage and smack Rock in the face.

The mega-viral moment has led viewers to track down previous wisecracks at the expense of Smith and his Hollywood marriage, which has attracted persistent fascination in the public eye.

In the resurfaced clip of Wilson at the BAFTAs—posted to Reddit's "Facepalm" forum where it has received more than 16,000 votes—she joked that despite Smith's award for King Richard, she believed "his best performance in the past year has been being okay with all of his wife's boyfriends."

The comment elicited groans from the crowd, to which Wilson added: "What? Come on, he didn't show up."

Smith missed the BAFTAs, instead attending the Critics' Choice Awards in Los Angeles, which took place on the same day. The film's director Reinaldo Marcus Green accepted the BAFTA on his behalf.

Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have been married for 24 years, but their relationship has drawn particular attention for some unconventional choices in the last two years. In 2020, Pinkett Smith spoke openly on her Facebook Watch show Red Table Talk about dating singer August Alsina while she and her husband were temporarily separated.

During an interview with GQ in November 2021, Smith said, "For the large part of our relationship, monogamy was what we chose, not thinking of monogamy as the only relational perfection."

Smith also addressed his marriage on CBS Sunday Morning on the same day the BAFTAs aired. "There's never been infidelity in our marriage," he said. "Jada and I talk about everything and we have never surprised one another with anything ever."

The BBC received complaints following Wilson's night hosting the event, although it did not specify which jokes had agitated viewers. Other cracks by Wilson took aim at Meghan and Harry's Oprah interview as well as Prince Andrew.

In a statement on its complaints page, the broadcaster said: "Comedy is one of the most subjective areas of programming and views will always differ on what's acceptable, and what's appropriate at different times of the day. It's never our intention to offend viewers and we always think very carefully about what we broadcast to ensure that it isn't outside of the expectations of the majority of the audience."

Man move would've been to do that face to face, where there are no cameras, no security guards.

All the cats saying Chris should've hit him back, ON NATIONAL TV IN FRONT OF MILLIONS? Chris Rock took the high road and controlled
his impulses. That's HARDER to do. Will Smith a bitch for that move.

Do it man to man when no ones looking!

Jokes are jokes but there are certain lines you don't cross. There's gotta be a level of decency established somehow, that being said Will's move was bitchmade, control your temper.
Now regarding that australian cave bitch, if someone joked about how fat she used to be, everyone will get in on that person. Some jokes earn you slaps, ask Chris Rock.

Cosign with this 110%.
There's a lot of this going on all over the internet.
Calling it, "defending free speech" and defending "just telling jokes".
I'm not defending what Will did (nor Chris for that matter). But comedians are all coming outta the woodworks to rally around Chris and just about any other comic who says foul or fucked shit in the name of "comedy". Like being a comic gives you license to insult or make fun of everyone and to do it without consequences. Clearly, that ain't true... :smh:
It was a GI Jane joke. And it was really a compliment for Jada. GI Jane is a bad-ass character. Hair condition or not Jada should have laughed at it like her husband did. Especially since her hypocrite, lying-ass was bragging a week ago about how she loves her short hair and how she doesn't care what anyone says about it. They should ban her ass from the Oscars for being unprofessional about a mild joke. She's a professional entertainer and that joke is about as mild as they get.

"When Will Smith stormed onto the Oscar stage to strike Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife’s short hair, he did a lot more damage than just to Rock’s face. With a single petulant blow, he advocated violence, diminished women, insulted the entertainment industry, and perpetuated stereotypes about the Black community."

What am I looking at?

See my Vulcan brother?

The backtrack begins.

These human get emotional and try to project and pull EVERYTHING into their own little narrative.

Trying so hard to make something into something ELSE.

not realizing that they are reducing and dismissing the very thing they are trying to promote and highlight.

Chris Rock Spotted in Boston Ahead of First Performance Since Oscars Slap
The "Chris Rock Ego Death World Tour 2022" has five shows scheduled at The Wilbur

Comedian Chris Rock was spotted checking into the Ritz Carlton in Boston ahead of his five shows at The Wilbur Theatre this week, the first of which is Wednesday night.

NBC10 Boston's cameras caught him entering the hotel around 11 p.m. Tuesday.

When Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars Sunday night, it not only rocked the comedian, it also sent his upcoming tour ticket sales soaring. TickPick, a ticket marketplace, said that its sales for "Chris Rock Ego Death World Tour 2022" have spiked since the Oscars. The lowest price tickets for the Boston shows are around $125, with tickets also selling for as high as $1,350.

Rock's trip to Boston features two shows scheduled on Wednesday, two on Thursday and one on Friday. From there, Rock is scheduled to head off to Atlantic City and then California.

Sunday night's on-screen dispute between Rock and Smith overshadowed all other headlines from the Academy Awards. Smith confronted Rock on the Oscars stage after the comedian made a joke about Smith's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.

Rock joked about Pinkett Smith starring in "G.I. Jane 2," apparently because her head is shaved. She did not laugh at the joke. Smith could then be seen walking to the stage, where he appeared to slap Rock with an open hand.

Will Smith took to social media on Monday to formally apologize to Rock for slapping him. The Academy has since condemned Smith's actions on Twitter and launched a formal review. Rock has declined to press charges over the incident.

Pinkett Smith last year publicly shared that she has alopecia, an autoimmune disorder that leads to hair loss. "G.I. Jane" was a 1997 movie starring Demi Moore as a woman who joins the U.S. Navy and shaves her head soon after.

Viewers at home were confused as to whether the altercation was staged at first, although the audio was cut as Smith seemed to yell an obscenity at Rock while walking back to his seat in the audience.

Once seated he again, on camera, yelled at Rock "Keep my wife’s name out of your [expletive] mouth!”

Rock, for his part, seemed stunned.

"Will Smith just smacked the [expletive] out of me," he said to the camera. He tried to tell Smith it was a joke, but Smith was not having it, and Rock moved on.

Smith later won a best actor Oscar for his role in "King Richard," where he tearfully apologized to the Academy for the confrontation.
