Flau'jae Johnson and her LSU teammates may have fallen short of repeating as national champions this year, but the 20-year-old basketball star scored a remarkable consolation present this week: an SUV.
The latest clash between the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets at Madison Square Garden welcomed a member of college basketball royalty on Friday night.
Reese was seen on her phone and chatting with the person to her right. An X account attempted to lip-read the clip and suggested Reese said: 'Why she always in my man likes?'
Caitlin Clark is still a week away from her likely No 1 selection in the WNBA Draft to the Indiana Fever. That has not stopped tickets for her possible professional debut from skyrocketing in price.
After losing Caitlin Clark to the WNBA, Iowa has landed Villanova transfer Lucy Olsen, who was the No. 3 scorer in the nation last season.

Lucy Olsen, the No. 3 scorer in Division I women's basketball this past season at Villanova behind Iowa's Caitlin Clark and USC's JuJu Watkins, is transferring to Iowa. Olsen, a 5-foot-9 guard, confirmed her commitment on social media Wednesday. The senior-to-be has one season of eligibility left.
Olsen averaged 23.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists this past season for the 22-13 Wildcats, who fell in the championship game of the WBIT to Illinois. Olsen led Villanova in scoring in all but seven games this season. She won the Big East's most improved player award and was a unanimous All-Big East first-team honoree. A Pennsylvania native, Olsen started all 105 games of her Villanova career. The Wildcats lost in the NCAA tournament Sweet 16 her sophomore year in 2023 and in the NCAA second round when she was a freshman. Olsen made 134 3-pointers at Villanova, including 55 this past season. Olsen is a good fit for Iowa. The Hawkeyes, who fell in the national championship game the past two seasons, are graduating four guards from this year's 34-5 team: Clark (No. 1 pick) and Kate Martin (No. 18), who were chosen in Monday's WNBA draft, Gabbie Marshall and Molly Davis.
The WNBA is riding the crest of a wave thanks to the emergence of superstars such as Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, who have brought record-breaking crowds to arenas around the country.
Reese enjoyed a superb rookie season in the WNBA with the Chicago Sky after being selected with the seventh overall draft pick, despite the team not managing to secure a playoff berth.
Skip Bayless claims that Caitlin Clark is right to skip the Unrivaled 3-on-3 league in January after the Indiana Fever star walked with a target on her back throughout her rookie campaign.
