It's a standard a lot of big budget films can't match
Watched it with pops and we replayed a handful of scenes along the way to appreciate the technical chaos!
Paradise
Watching the start of the first episode I knew something was a bit off ,but I dismissed it and got into the story which does borrow a story thread from a 1998 movie but then it starts developing the characters and the story becomes more involving. Slow reveals are nicely done throughout the first 3 episodes and why characters are motivated to take certain courses of action are revealed. I'm looking forward to episode 4

Some of the threads in the plot are predictable but the show is interesting enough for me to come back. I want to see how things play out for a few characters and i want to see what some dynamics in the story build up to.

I love this dudes as an actor. Damn shame that he was only in Black panther for a snippet in time because he is just fantastic.

This is wild. I just happened to see it last night before bed. I figured I had enough time to watch an episode of Abbott elementary and during My lunch hour I watched episode 1 and wow. I didn't see that coming
With so much of TV a rehashment of old and recycled stories, this is one that doesn't feel familiar, and Sterling k Brown just has a presence, a seriousness. You wonder if the man ever laughs because he just is so straight laced but not in a bad way
I've seen him with his hair down in American fiction, but when he's serious, he's fucking serious. He's what Isaiah Washington could have been if he wasn't a MAGA moron.
Anyway, great minds think alike on this selection. Paradise is pretty good so far
