I didn't even notice but yea that's kinda lame

These dudes who live and breathe the draft take things a bit too serious, esp. when they're "right". Kinda like stock pickers..
lmao exactly a bigger flex would be "predicted the Bears first pick 3 years in a row" or something like that. Lets see how he does next year :giggle:

Maybe hes trying to be a sports journalist or some shit

5 picks tomorrow afternoon!!

  • Round 2, Pick 53 (from BAL)
  • Round 2, Pick 61 (from CAR)
  • Round 3, Pick 64
  • Round 4, Pick 103
  • Round 4, Pick 133 (from PHI)
lots of dline depth available. Wouldnt be upset at a RB/TE/G/C or more LBs

tbh everything is on the board except safety and Maybe WR.

the Bears need some of everything. I think their secondary is the strongest part of the team right now. I’m not drinking the Fields kool aid yet. They signed like 5 linebackers this offseason. The Lions might win that division this year watch out. Let’s go Jets! In Aaron Rodgers we trust. ✊

This off season couldn't have gone any better.

Offensive line is much improved, clear cut WR #1 acquired, nice FA signings, acquired even more picks to address the remaining holes.

Still need a C, more talent on the DL, and another CB but we are in a position to be much more competitive and barring injury, compete for the division title.

I wanted Carter to be a Bear but comparing his offseason and workouts to Wright's, I cant be mad at Poles for going with Wright. Poles is building and trying to set a standard, you can't even consider bringing in guys with shaky character until you have proven and unquestioned leaders in the locker room. They aren't there yet but they are on their way.

It would have been nice to have that pick we gave up for Claypool, probably could have gotten a DE. I haven't given up on Claypool yet like some Bears fans, hopefully we can get something out of him this upcoming season.
I'm still a Claypool fan and I think we'll get way more from him going fwd. Look at it this way: if he wasn't on the roster we'd still be looking for another Claypool-type WR. I know I'm in the minority but still think the pick was worth it.

Hoping we can get a decent vet DE on th FA market. There are still a handful of dudes available that were waiting to see how the team drafts shook out. (Ngakoue, etc.)

I hope that Claypool plays well but I don't expect him to be on the team after this season. I think that Mooney is more likely to be resigned since both he and Claypool are free agents after this season. And if Claypool wasn't traded for I think that the team drafts someone like Cedric Tillman this year who has size and speed along with production in college.
Loved the Bears draft. What good centers or defensive ends were available at 32? Offensive league. Had to give h1m weapons.

Also need high character guys in a young locker room.
Both Joe Tippman and John Michael Schmidt were available at 32 as centers and neither would have been considered a reach. Schmidtz was also there to be drafted when they traded up and took Stevenson. Keion White who may also have been able to play 3 tech or DE was there at 32 as well. Derrick Hall was another one. And I personally would have preferred Adewore from Northwestern over Zacch Pickens but hopefully time will prove me wrong.

I’m waiting on next year draft

That’s like 2nd week sales

See what mistakes and misses u made and plug them in

Don’t blow your cap space load no @Amajorfucup on garbage FA’s. Get Tackles. Beef up that line and get Line backer camp going

I’m not worried about the secondary right now. I will next draft cause that area will have to be addressed sooner than later and we can get scoring first rather than have defense and no points to protect them.

Poles has my attention but not my curiosity yet
