Him calling that the Williams pass was ego and hubris like a motherfucker though. :smh:
Ehhhh. They needed a spark and its getting late. Buddy could've threw it in the stands or tucked it and ran. He didn't have to throw it up, not being an actual QB.

Edit. Nevermind. Im watching on a delay. You probably wernt talking about that WR pass at 11 minutes.

They were getting yards on the ground enough to not call that BS imo, you’re right he shouldn’t have thrown it, but he was humping ground after a TD earlier, making good decisions ain’t his strong suit lol.

Yeah they need to interview a minority coach in person to abide by the Rooney rule.
Okay. Just too obvious that Eddie's just a Rooney Rule interview coming from a small school. I would have thought the brutha who is the HC at Northern Illinois,Thomas Hammock would get an NFL Hc interview. He was a former RB coach with the Ravens. This also shows how far Bienemy has fallen.

Didn't they interview Flores already??? At this point, he'll its been feeling like their casting too wide of a net. We all know it's like 3 dudes with a real shot. Some of these dudes just getting their time wasted.

Flores was virtual. Rooney Rule requires you interview 2 minority candidates in person. Ron Rivera fulfills one of the spots. What's interesting is that Pep Hamilton and Byron Leftwich, the 2 bruthas the Pats used to fulfill RR are unemployed. Bears could have done them first. Or Bienemy. Or XFL DC Defenders HC Reggie Barlow.

Thomas Brown wasn't in person?

He doesn't count as a Rooney Rule interview because he was already on the Bears staff. They have to be 2 external hires. That's why, while kinda shady, it was clever as fuck what New England did. Neither Lewftich nor Pep Hamilton are currently employed by NFL teams. No permission needed to interview them. Also, since they have both been OC's before and had head coaching interviews as well, not totally ridiculous or unbelievable candidates.

Not sure if I agree with Bo, but one thing I didn't even know Leftwich wasn't working. It might have been a out of sight, out of mind situation.
