You could be right. i work in Manhattan's Upper E. Side and it seems like maybe %45 of those white kids are on the spectrum. Often times I do see older fathers with them.
Something is going on today. Maybe it was undiagnosed back in the day but autism is way to popular in this country. I wonder what the numbers are in Africa, Caribbean etc.....

Poor people shit. Financial well off and wealthy typically have children later in life. Raising that child in a stable environment and being able to afford best education trumps being able to play sports with him any day.
If i had a kid today id just pay your broke ass to come over and play with him. Like Richard Pryor and "The Toy".

One of my biggest fears though is having a kid on the spectrum. I saw what that shit did to my cousin, I don't wish that shit on nobody. Her life was hell. She looks older than her mother now and she's 23 years younger and has already had a stroke.
Her son JJ was so high on the spectrum that doctors advised her not to have another kid because JJ might kill it accidentally.
She finally got JJ potty trained at like 6 or 7, but the following year she had to put them back in diapers for a year and a half because he discovered his own shit.
After taking a shit, he would dig into the toilet, get a hand full of shit and smear it on the walls, shit painting.
Imagine the hell of having to clean up after that multiple times. I remember her telling my mother that when she would catch the bus home sometimes she would just let a bus pass just so she can have 20 more minutes of peace
