Just a heads up until Jan 31st Carnival is running a reduced deposit special on cruises.

This is what I use to book several cruises a year or 2 out and pay on them as I go.

I just pulled the trigger on the hawaii cruise I was talking about for april 2019 and I'm thinking about a panama canal cruise for feb 2020

I want to do this so bad. Sadly, I don't know anyone else who can take the two weeks off to go with me. Also, I've heard from a small amount of people, that only much older people take that crusie. No idea if that's true.

Carnival is the Walmart of Cruise Lines. :smh:
I've only been once and I loved it. My only confusing thing are those who complained about everything on the cruise. Acting like they were elite or should be on a elegant ship. I'm like, you can pay and go on a more expensive ship. I'm in a group on FB and you'd think these people make 500k a year the way they complained. Nope.

Maybe you feel that way because it's the only cruise line you been on. Try others and I'll bet you'll come to the conclusion that comparatively speaking Carnival is shit. :hmm:

I have sailed on the big 3 on different ships, more than 20 cruises and I know that your statement is shit.

I am a member of a black cruise of Facebook with 70K members and this silly shit comes up all the time.

folks please do your own research.

The longer the cruise and the more expensive results in an older crowd.

Whenever I hear folks complaining about children I immediately suspect they only sail those 3-5 day cruises.

7 or more days and those cruises but less crowded and less populated by younger people especially younger children - all cruise lines.

Yes by all means they should do their own research like I did and if they do they'll discover my view of Carnival is shared by a whole lotta people.
By the way I did checked out your Black Cruise Group FB page; where are all the comments lauding Carnival as even being close to being one of the best.
But there are plenty non-biased websites like the one below detailing the many, many, many complaints from past Carnival customers.
Just one other thought, maybe the reason your 70K members, according to you, like Carnival so much is because it's so much cheaper than other cruise lines. :hmm:

Wow. Look what I found?

https://www.consumeraffairs.com/travel/royal_caribbean.htm

Carnival is not the cheapest. The Big 3 have comparable prices going to the same ports on the same dates with the same class of ships.

I choose my cruises based on the destination and I price all the cruise lines.

The Black Cruise Group is a living, breathing resource of Black people that know cruising and cruise lines and the vast majority prefer Carnival. Some prefer Royal Caribbean. No one believes that any cruise line is shit.

If you had to choose between an Audi, Benz or BMW there is no SHIT choice.

I’ll do my first cruise this later this year. I just came back from Cancun and I think I’m tired of resorts.

Carnival had half the deck gone on a cruise last year.
Gave 1/2 my money back and 1/2 off the next cruise.
Did my last cruise for free plus the fees.

You are right. I've only been on one. It just seemed fine to me. Keep in mind, when I read your post, I immediately reflected on those people making unreasonable complaints. All I know is that mine was for seven days, the ship was packed, groups, families, couples, kids, but I still had fun. Enough fun that I'm seriously debating going on that Hawaiian cruise single in October. I just need to research more.

Those four day cruises suck because they're on the smallest boats and they're cheap so the poorest people are on them. When I used to an avid cruiser I wouldn't do anything less than 7 days

My man. Cruises are drama free. I never had beef on a cruise. I am a people person. I play spades and dominos with total stranger. I talk shit with folks in the sports bar. I dance on the lido deck. I pop my head on the clubs at night. I go to the musicals and comedy shows.

You have a personal housekeeper who will clean your entire room and bathroom. There are workers cleaning the dining area and common areas continuously so cleanliness should never been a problem for long.

Caribbean cruise is too vague. 90% of cruises are bound for either the eastern or western Caribbean.

Norwegian has a 4 day cruise (M-F) that goes to 3 Bahama islands and most sailings have all inclusive drinks.

Carnival and Royal have a lot of Cozumel and Key West 4 day cruises.

Start your search with a site like Expedia.com with your dates and compare the rates, but don't book thru them.

One thing I never figured out. Me and my wife went on a Carnival cruise. Everybody says the drinks are expensive, yet on a 4 day cruise our drink bill was like $125 and we were drunk the entire time. I was just buying shit, not even checking on no prices.

Not funny but a word of caution…If you have ANY outstanding warrants or are a fugitive DO NOT SET FOOT ON A CRUISE SHIP!!!

Ships passenger manifest are given to authorities

They check all passengers to see if they have warrants. They let you have a grand old time on the cruise then arrest you as you leave the boat!

These 2 were taken off the breeze when she returned to Galveston sunday:

This is true. They call you down on the morning of debarkation or they will come to your stateroom if your crime is serious enough.

Most ports have a drug dog in the customs building too.

The dog alerted on me and my wife once and don't smoke or drink or use prescription drugs.

Dude asked if we smoked on the island or if we had checked our luggage. They checked our bags.

We have been pulled by customs 4 times.
