I never shoot pool and got a lake in the back yard and hardly ever fish, before I bought this house I use to love those two things.Yea when i first got my table i was wack...got tired of niggas coming thru kicking my ass lol
Left one famThanks.
Your picture just reminded me i still need to choose between these two tiles
This. Nothing beats a full movie experience like having a projector and 103" screen.ya looking @ your living space I could see why you'd say that...ppl who instantly knock it either never saw a good quality one or just don't have the right space for it and blow off the notion...not saying you have to have one but to say it 'sucks'...? lol
Black diamond screens and ambient light control are essential. My shit looks fucking great.Projectors are as crisp as TVS, you just need:
1. Total darkness
2. An expensive projector
3. A good backdrop
If I had the correct place in our home (and could talk the wife into spending the money on it), I would easily replace my TV in the media room with a projector.
I miss my custom bar from my first crib I built. We didn't have any room in the new crib because the wife wanted an air hockey table which the kids nor her no longer use.
Just moved in a few months ago and I'm in the process of ordering more posters and getting them framed. Had to take a break to buy Christmas shit.
I have multiple spots throughout my house that have my stamp on it. I mostly hang in my office. The kids and I usually hang in the game room and the wife, kids, and I watch a ton of BGOL movies in the theater room.
Thanks.

Boss shit!Digging the chairs and set up man.
I'm so broke I can't even furnish right now.
I have an open area where I have the pool table (my birthday/Xmas gift), and future plans for a small kitchenette, bar and seating area.
We have a bedroom down there with a full shower and toilet. a bonus/fitness room, home office, and media room too, but on hold as per furnishing until I get more funds.
I went into this knowing it is not my "man cave" but a spot for the whole family.
The media room I will set up as a small mancave since I plan to have my consoles (PS4 and XB1) connected down there.
Still debating what to do for overall sound (music playing)
I plan to get a 75" SUHD Samsung if prices come down in 2017.
Lots of potential
Pool table - Space in the back is where a small bar/kitchen will go, and a seating area with a TV on the wall
Home office behind pool table with pocket doors. Other door is where a bonus room/fitness room or whatever the fuck room will be
Before pool table - Media room is the open door to the right
Media room - Wall where TV or projector screen will go
Raised platform in media room for seats - Still need to carpet this room - Scheduled for next Friday
Finished bathroom/shower

My theater room was the same but carpeted and had all the wiring for the speakers and amp to go.Digging the chairs and set up man.

Yea. I wired everything before the contractors put in insulation and sheetrock, right after they framed. My theater room was the same but carpeted and had all the wiring for the speakers and amp to go.
I didn't pay anyone to do anything. Did it all myself. If interested in what I did, I could post it here.
Granted I did my room 7/8 yrs ago now.Yea. I wired everything before the contractors put in insulation and sheetrock, right after they framed.
They are the same company I got my seats from. They have 3-4 websites where they are all the same, and now I see it listed as bonded leather . years ago they just called it leather, deceived many online.my "man cave" just consists of a 55 inch tv and 7.1 surround sound right now. in another year or 2 i'll be ready to build it up. with the many contacts i run into in the theatre industry i think i'll be able to build my room on a great budget. as far as cables i usually get them from monoprice.com. i been looking at this site http://www.theaterseatstore.com/?gclid=COPzsK_jntECFVWewAodC4EC9w for seating options. i like this guy's theatre. he made a website for it and everything http://freytheater.com/

When I was in the midwest, they didn't care. I had free run of the crib. In Houston I had to slip the Project manager a 50 spot so I could go in. If I had a single story it would have been simple to wire after the fact but a two story you have to be pro active. Please do...All info helps. We plan to carpet the theatre room, and 2 other rooms.
That's one of the mistakes I made. I should have wired for internet before drywall...I didn't. Same thing for audio. I didn't
