A majority of the recast movement wasn't necessarily saying that T'Challa HAD to be recast for BP2. Just find another way to take him off the grid temporarily without killing the character along with the actor who portrayed him. While it's not unique to do this(see Coach from 'Cheers', Liv Soprano from the 'Sopranos'), it's usually done with older ensemble actors, not leads.

Is there anybody in here that like Shuri holding the mantle in BP2?
I kinda get the people who are sick of Hollywood pushing female protagonists to the front of the line. But I loved BP2 and how they handled Chadwick's death and the passing of the mantle to Shuri. BP2 was one of the few times where it didn't seem forced. It made sense that Shuri would be next in line.
I was hoping they give her one more movie before they age up the little boy from the end of BP2 to take the crown.

we watched and we are very well aware; its just these complaining dudes didnt want to wait for Marvel to recast; no way that they wasnt gonna recast!! They could have delayed Panther 2 but I understand why they didnt; end the end anyone with a brain knew they would eventually recast..

He's been in a bunch of stuff in Britain so not too many in the US know about him except for Bridgerton and I think that's mostly women.
But I've seen him in multiple roles and he can act. An important talent for Marvel (DC not so much). And more importantly, he has comic chops.
