but i see with other apps, they release paid and unpaid versions. the paid versions dont have ads? Can that be done with this app? Im sure people would pay to not have the ads show.

Ok I like the update with the reduced ads but you have to do something with that timer. You don't have enough time to really plan out your deck during bidding especially since there isn't a way to remember what the other side bid before the game starts. Most of the time I'm just throwing out a number to get in under the time and missing easy books. Tonight was the first time I really got frustrated over the timer..... Because the match was close and I needed to time to figure out my winning bid.
I would suggest slowing down the timer or extending it. I would also suggest adding the option to let the cpu or the player to increase their first bid if it feels like the they make another book or if the other side appears to be underbidding.

Side note... This is just a suggestion. Obviously this would be something to consider down the line, but If you really want to stand out I would consider adding something like a swag/power meter that could slowly be charged up depending on your style of play (I.e cutting someone three times in a row, or cutting an Ace or winning a book with a 10 or lower card).. Then once charged you could unleash a swag move to shift momentum... (I.e... Slipping a card under a everyone else's cards to flip them over for the devastating cut or throwing down the 3 of spades on the table smack dab on a Ace of hearts like you were playing dominos)...
Those are the things that make playing spades amongst the fam exciting and that's the type of shit that none of these spades games in the market has seemed to capture. Spades should be treated like a war... Like dominoes.. You have to put some excitement into it.

The timer update is coming. you are not the only one feeling the squeeze. LOL. for me it's cool but I know lots of folks that feel like it's too much pressure. And I can see it being the cause of some folks playing the wrong cards do to rushing.
I have a list of about 20 rule add on's but to do them all, I have to have the peeps really using the game. if i take the ads out. they gotta support the game so i can do all the cool shit i have planned. but you are on the same page i'm on.

Typically the timer wouldn't bother me, but you are right... Since your hand isn't the biggest it takes a second to adjust to the cards. But i would suggest maybe having the called bids by each player on screen a little longer or have the total team bid on screen. That would probably cut down timer issues pre-final bid because your wouldn't have to try to remember the total bid of the opposing team while thinking of your hand... Especially for those moments where because of the bidding it might look like something that wouldn't normally walk like a jack might be in play.
Yeah the tutorials.... did make a huge difference. I didn't even know you could you change score until now.
Ok just played two games after reading the turtorial... Much much better. I'd definitely pay for Version without ads.

Keeping in the 2 puts in to many wild cards. It makes it to easy to catch books. The last 3 hands I had 4 wild cards and that's not even counting the Ace of spades. That's a great hand but it's not that realistic. It's rare for anybody to have that many wild cards at once and now it's possible for two different players to have two sets of wild cards without even counting the Ace of spades.
I also have to say that I'm loving the A.i. on this so far. I've played 10 games and so far I haven't seen a lot of stupid unrealistic moves by the computer.
