Too many issues with this movie
I do not understand wtf is so difficult about getting this damn project off the runway...

Get Spike Lee and ask Wesley Snipes to come back as Blade's mentor/O.G.
the shit show started with hiring marsh for the role
they should have got a way more younger actor
then again he would prolly get walked over
and we would have got that shit show movie they deleted many times
Definitely need his input on monster and set design for this film.
They fucking up by not considering him.
I really think he could handle this reboot because of his unique vision.

Now if this new Blade continues on this shitty production schedule and upon release is trash they can segue Wesley back into the franchise front and center.
Here's what they should do...
- Keep Mahershala Ali as the new Blade. He can get the job done.
- Add Wesley Snipes. Make him the new "Whistler".
- He should play a "Passing of the Torch" type of role in the storyline.
- Snipes can be the "Man in the Chair" type of mentor for Mahershala.
- Don't just give Wesley a shotgun like Whistler had, give him some hand-to-hand action scenes... like he had in "Expendables 3".
- Let him cook, while Mahershala carries the lion's share of the combat/story.
Off the top of my head... Here's a quick list of 10 filmmakers who could both write the script and direct a BLOCKBUSTER Blade movie with some input from Kevin Feige...
- Ryan Coogler (Director of Black Panther movies)
- Kevin Grevioux (Director of the Underworld movies)
- David Nutter (Director of Game of Thrones / Arrow / The Flash tv shows)
- Antoine Fuqua (Director of Training Day / The Equalizer movies)
- Christopher McQuarrie (Director of The Usual Suspects / Mission Impossible movies)
- Miguel Sapochnik (Director of Game of Thrones / Battle of the Bastards / Hardhome episodes)
- Jordan Peele (Director of Get Out / NOPE / Us movies)
- F. Gary Gray (Director of The Negotiator / Law Abiding Citizen movies)

2) Give Blade a helluva bad ass villain to "try" to overcome (like Mephisto).
3) Have an "R" rating... the darker the better (no wokeness at all).

I added Jordan Peele because it seems he's a lot stronger at Scriptwriting than Directing, at this point of his career.
So I figured he could write some very good 'plot twists' (that would be hard to predict)... plus some great Dramatic scenes also.... but yes, I agree he would probably need Kevin Feige's input (and LOTS of help from the Marvel Studios Special VFX Team) when it comes to filming the real hardcore Action scenes.
