Breaking: PRINCE DEAD AT 57

Prince was practicing celibacy for some years now, as he channeled his libido into and through his music. He actually has at least there vaults at P.Park and numerous mini vaults across the country and world at various studios. Prince has endless hours of video footage, recordings, etc as he recording everything and studied himself and others. It would not be surprising that their is video of him in his last days at P.Park, as P.Park was wired with cameras everywhere. he often would sit and watch live feeds of fans, etc interact while at P.Park studios. I know that he and Badu have a couple of unreleased tracks, he and Lenny have a partial album recorded back in the symbol days. Contrary to popular believe Prince' symbol was designed by a group of artist on his payroll, and Prince was behind some minor changes of the symbol. Every thing Prince did was calculated, scripted, pre-planned, and rehearsed to perfection, all the way from his personal hairstyles, his "spontaneous" live performances, to him sweeping the internet of his music with the aide of his sister and lawyer London. The vault is real, however their have been issues with compile etc as dude literally recorded 24 hours a day something. His will could be as surprising as having PPark demolished, donated to JW, give everything away, to nothing released for 50+ years, his will depending n where his state of mind was at the time it was written.
I would like to see an in depth and accurate depiction of his musical family tree. In a similar fashion to when people make coaching tree displays. Some of the people and groups were left out of these articles.

After Vanity left Vanity 6, Prince placed actress and singer Apollonia Kotero in the group, which had a hit with 1984’s “Sex Shooter” and could be seen in the movie “Purple Rain.”
MORRIS DAY AND THE TIME
Prince produced the band and wrote songs for it. Its best known songs are “777-9311,” “The Bird” and “Jungle Love.”

The influence of Prince’s music cannot be overstated, but the late legend’s impact goes way, way, way, way beyond his own albums. Whether he was acting as mentor to Minnesota’s up and coming R&B talents in the ‘80s, writing songs for some of the best performers in the business, or acting as label boss, the music world wouldn’t have been the same had Prince not picked up a guitar.
Morris Day and The Time. Not only did he shape the outfit into a commercial success, but he also gave Time band members Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis a platform on which they’d build their reputation as one of the best pop production outfits to ever exist. But other Prince associates, such as Vanity, Alexander O’Neal, and Jesse Johnson would go on to find later success.
Functioning as the head of Paisley Park Records, Prince not only delivered albums from the likes of Mavis Staples, George Clinton, and, um, Carmen Electra, he also wrote and produced a significant amount of the material the label released from Sheila E, Madhouse, and The Time.
But Prince had the ability to work magic even when his involvement wasn’t immediately apparent. As a songwriter and producer, he cranked out songs for the likes of Madonna, Rick James, Patti LaBelle, The Bangles, and even Kenny Rogers. Not only capable of producing classics such as Sheila E’s “The Glamorous Life,” he proved just as versatile when he handed “Nothing Compares 2 U” over to Sinead O’Connor and it became a runaway hit.
And what is a family without a little drama? Although they never collaborated on record, the rivalry between Prince and Michael Jackson was so intense, it’s foolish to argue the two musical giants didn’t have an influence on each other. Need further proof? Just check this video.

Comedian Dave Chappelle has been forever linked to music icon Prince since he famously and hilariously impersonated him in a 2004 sketch.
In the wee hours of Friday morning, Chappelle performed in San Francisco, despite his grief over the death of the larger-than-life performer — because he knew Prince wouldn’t approve if he called off the show.
Performing at the Chapel, Chappelle said, “I almost thought about not coming tonight, but my band was like, ‘Yo, Prince would definitely not condone that,’” according toSFGate.
He called Prince’s death on Thursday at the age of 57 “the black 9/11.” He seems to have a point. Proof of how much Prince was universally loved lay in worldwide tributes, as landmarks lit up in purple to honor the “Purple Rain” singer.
“It’s so much better that we grieve together,” Chappelle told the crowd.
The two performing artists are iconic in their own rights, but their paths crossed when Chappelle performed a sketch in which he impersonated Prince. Prince liked it so much, he put an image of Chappelle in character on the cover of his single, “Breakfast Can Wait.”
“That’s a Prince judo move right there,” Chappelle had told comedian Jimmy Fallon. “You make fun of Prince in a sketch and he’ll just use you in his album cover. What am I gonna do? Sue him for using a picture of me dressed up as him? It’s impossible. That’s checkmate right there.”
In the sketch, comedian Eddie Murphy’s brother, Charlie Murphy, recounts a true story in which the two brothers and their friends are challenged by Prince and his band, the Revolution, to a basketball game. They were taken by surprise by the skill with which the diminutive singer played, and at the end of it, Prince not only won the game, but cooked pancakes for everyone.
