I showed my co-worker (who only listens to classic rock) this video after Prince's passing. He said, "Why Tom Petty hating on him? Didn't they ask him to play that part? The other kid (Dhani) loved it...why Tom Petty so mad?"

I told him because they never knew Prince was that good until then. Clapton told them but they chose not to listen. And as usual when it comes to Prince, they got embarrassed.

R.I.P. Prince. I suspect your stories will be told until we all meet you uptown.

Actually, that was his band. The white girls on guitar and drums (and usually bass too) are members of 3rd Eye Blind his latest touring band. That particular arrangement of Let's go Crazy is exactly how he played it on the Hit and Run tour last year.

There were some misc people who picked up instruments and joined in, but I think they were just playing the basic riff of the song.

If you believe Jimmy Fallon, those were just some basic instruments that were setup for anyone to play. I wonder if Prince had someone working the soundboard for his set, because it sounded really great for what it was.

Oh yeah Maya's mammarys were magnificent. I wonder if she was prego at the time, because she never caught my eye like that either.

I believe he knew his time was almost up. Just by looking at everything that has happened after his death seem too planned out already. He passed away on Thursday, they do the autopsy, have him cremated, hold a memorial service where people from all over flew in and have a truckload of memorial gifts ready for the fans. All in a matter of 2 days.

i'm in my office about to open the door when my co worker told me. smfh. as i open the door , another co worker starts going off like " damn man prince is dead yada yada yada. i was in my feelings and told them i was about to kick them the fuck out the office. that was one hurt. . all the while in my head, sometimes it snows in april was playing. fucked me up.
