I wouldn't go that far. She looks great for her, but in 1985 she was flawless
that look at the 2:45 mark

I will never forget the first time seeing her close-up pum shot in the U Got The Look video.

You tube poster comments. Not mine.

But I do like track.

This is Prince at age 19 , and is Funky as Hell. The musicians are:
  • PRINCE (Keyboards & Guitar),
  • Andre Cymone (Bass) and
  • Bobby Z (Drums).
They Recorded instrumentals demos in the rehearsal room of Owen Husney's Loring Park office. They sound like well-crafted compositions rather than spur of the moment JAMS

Peace BROTHER,

I hear you and share those feelings. I'm still just shocked about the whole thing. The death, the autopsy, the cremation and BAM!!! The greatest musician and entertainer since JB is no more.

Some of the stories on line and in the press are so wild about him and his last days. I just hope its all BS.

But whatever the truth is I hope it all comes out.

BROTHER, I been rocking with PRINCE since 1978. So many points in my life a PRINCE song takes me back.

I'm glad you had a good weekend.

Don't worry BROTHER this thing will be okay.

Peace FAM,

I was watching FACE THE NATION TODAY!

They had Presidential candidate John Kasich on. He and host John Dickerson both paid a huge tribute to PRINCE and his untimely death. They both admitted being big PRINCE fans

I can't find the video anywhere.

An assist from FAM would be greatly appreciated.

Damn, PRINCE was all across the demographic spectrum with his fan base.

Man that shit got me so proud to be Black!!!

Peace RR,

They definitely did their thang. Chaka got like 50 years in the game and she still blew the other vocalist Janelle Monae off the stage. Chaka has a soulful, gospel, powerful voice full of emotion and ????(I'm lost for words).

Chaka can really, really, really sing.

I haven't heard anybody say in a minute:
  • I'm proud to be BLACK
  • It feels good to be BLACK
That was beautiful to hear.

Peace 13th Round,

That was a nice drop. He mentioned PRINCE re-signing to a label? I thought he was totally independent?

The thing a record company can still do that's hard for an individual artist is distribution and marketing (especially in the international market). If you care at all about physical copies of the the music, that's still hard to do without a label or at least a publishing deal.

1982...PRINCE...ALBUM..."1999"

I listened to this "CLASSIC" this morning and it took me back to some truly great times in my life.

It has 2 of my favorite jams of all time "FREE" and "INTERNATIONAL LOVER"!

PLEASE TAKE A LISTEN.

Free is the most underrated cut on that album. It's rarely talked about or mentioned. Then again, there are so many dope cuts on that album, there's bound to be a few that are over-looked.

it must be really hard for Judith becos she is the only artist to have worked close up with BOTH MJ AND PRINCE BEFORE THEY DIED!! thats trippy
and another freaky thing, i know a musician friend in Brooklyn who worked with both MJ and Whitney the nite b4 they both passed, like rehearsed up close in same room with them both and day later, must be really tuff to come to grips with
