But I have no memory of the actual procedure. One minute I'm on my side in the surgery suite waiting for the Propofol to kick and the next I'm waking up in the recovery room. Just like with general anesthesia, you don't remember dozing off or having a sense of time passage. From your point of view it's essentially instantaneous. No polyps found and my next procedure is in ten years.

There really is no reason not to get it done.

My first time getting the procedure check was similar to yours. I have one schedule next month. i was told get it done every 5 yrs instead of 10. I swear at times, white medical doctors devaluate our health concerns to our detriment. I figure getting it done sooner than 10yrs is better.

Sounds smart. I'm considering the five year plan also.

My experience exactly, EXCEPT...

...one of the techs grabbed my ass for no effing reason BEFORE the procedure.

I said ma'am, did you just grab my butt?

She looked at me like I was the ghost of Shaka Zulu. She started stammering for words so I said: im married. You need to ask my wife for permission before you do that again.

She tried to laugh it off but I bet she been out here just grabbing asses with reckless abandon.

I'm prepping right now. Mine is scheduled tomorrow at 12. I been eating chicken broth all day and is hungry AF. My prep is drinking 8oz bottle of Clenpiq and 40oz of water. I have to do the same thing in the morning.
I had 2 polyps, and they removed them. The procedure is the easy part. The hardest part is the liquid diet the day before. You're going to be starving. I ate chicken broth all day. Around midnight sleep and weakness knocked me out. The crazy thing is when I woke up I was a lil hungry but good. It was like my body reset. I been dieting and this colonoscopy really opened my eyes. We probably only need 1/4 of the food we eat.

I didn't really prep for mine. The day before I ate Chipotle at 5 pm. Then I drank tea with monk fruit sweetener for the rest of the night.

for some unknown reason that stuff blows my system OUT.

This type of cancer is 100% survivable if you go get a colonoscopy when you're supposed to.
They remove the shit on the SPOT.
I went three years ago and going back early. NONE of my friends over 50 have gone.
With all this processed, bad food out here this type of cancer will only increase exponentially over the years.
Go get one done.
