Or was he smuggling something out like ... wildfire? That shit seemed to burn during the attack.
To be honest, one of the problems I had with last weeks episode is that those scorpions should never have been able to hit something as mobile as a dragon, it takes too long to maneuver and turn those things. This week is what should actually have happened.
You bother with them first to nullify their Scorpions... so they don’t shoot you out of the sky while you are sacking the city & buring it up.
The Scorpions on the ships are mobile... so they have longer range & more chance to take you out, if your name is Drogon.
The ones on the Walls are immobile & have limited range. Deal with them after taking out the bigger threat.
Just my opinion.
