what? "I killed the queen and the dragon flew off with her" Oh, you are lucky I didn't see you do it, btw you are under-arrest.

I'm just saying having a body to mourn, especially the body of a woman with wounds is worse. Why do you think they do stuff like bury Osama at sea? Seeing the damage always incites more anger and backlash. If there would have been a body Jon would have probably been killed on the spot in a fit of rage.

The Dragon burning the throne was about as subtle as a frying pan to the face!!!

The symbolic shit they tried to pull with drogon melting the throne was ass

This whole episode was ass

I dont see how any of the choices made to end the series make any sense whatsoever.

Bran is the king?

Same dude who says he lives in the past more then the present?

And more importantly, how they gonna pick a king from the North when the North is becoming independent? None of the other houses would accept that bullshit. At all.

Why is there still a Nightswatch???

Sansa becoming queen is whatever. She can have it.

Arya is an explorer now? Since when?

Where are the Unsullied and Dothraki going? I understand they wouldnt want to stay in Westeros, but why not explain it better?

Anyways...

1. Why wouldn't Yara do like Sansa and go for Iron Islands being Independent. That's all they ever did in the book when they saw a weak rule on Iron throne.

2. Why does Davos suggest the Reach for the Unsullied during the council meeting, when it has already been promised to Bron?

3. How does Sam Tarly go from Apprentice to Arch Maester ? I guess the same way Qyburn did, but damn did Sam even stay long enough to forge one link of his chain?

4. House Lannister is gone who is Lord Paramount or Warden of the East now? Does Tyrion get that as well as the Hand of King

5. Who gets Dragonstone? I guess it could be Davos. but they didn't give him much of a happy ending.

6. Can we get a full list of attendees at the Dragon pit meeting. There were a few dudes on the ends I couldn't identify.

Damn was Ghost there at the end rolling with Jon like a good boy or......

Best season ever!

All you cats talking about bad writing now this was bad. Killing Daenerys in the first 20 mins. Then nothing happening for the last hour. Setting up Jon to be king for years then abandoning that setup. Making Bran king when it was never hinted at, no arc pointing him there.

All they had to do was finish what they had setup instead of trying for gimicks.

Bullshit!!!!!!!!!!!!
Check the date of the article. :hmm:

March 2014 - Showrunners say 7 seasons is the plan.
https://ew.com/article/2014/03/11/game-of-thrones-7-seasons/

From the article...

Seven sounds okay to HBO, as well. Or perhaps eight. “I’m expecting to be sitting down with Dan and David to talk season 5 and we’ll talk about how things are looking,” says HBO programming president Michael Lombardo.

1. Yara isn't a tactician like Sansa. Yara was Tyrion/Jon/etc she ain't want the shit until she had to step up and take the shit and now she has it in its rightful hands but that's as far as she thought it out whereas Sansa has wanted absolute power over SOMETHING her entire life.

2. Davos didn't know the arrangement at that time he hadn't been speaking with Tyrion about what he promised Bron to not kill him.

3. They all dead. He's probably the only one left.

4. Tyrion probably gave it to a cousin but who knows.

5. Nobody.

They never showed WTF Bran was doing during the whole Battle of Winterfell.

He never even warged with a dragon.

Man, the ending I wrote (in my head) was way better than what HBO gave us.

I didn't hate it but it was rushed and very weak.

Huh, The Maesters are all dead? How? Old Town wasn't part of any battles.

The ones in westeros not the ones abroad.
And I def don't see them reaching out to continue the old traditions the people tied in that group are bound by the shit they've seen and pretty much won't be reaching out to outsiders from here on out honestly.
