1. Why wouldn't Yara do like Sansa and go for Iron Islands being Independent. That's all they ever did in the book when they saw a weak rule on Iron throne.

2. Why does Davos suggest the Reach for the Unsullied during the council meeting, when it has already been promised to Bron?

3. How does Sam Tarly go from Apprentice to Arch Maester ? I guess the same way Qyburn did, but damn did Sam even stay long enough to forge one link of his chain?

4. House Lannister is gone who is Lord Paramount or Warden of the East now? Does Tyrion get that as well as the Hand of King

5. Who gets Dragonstone? I guess it could be Davos. but they didn't give him much of a happy ending.

6. Can we get a full list of attendees at the Dragon pit meeting. There were a few dudes on the ends I couldn't identify.
Assist.

1 - Yara made a deal for Independence with Dany. With her dead, there’s nobody left to enforce / honor their deal. The deal was contingent upon them abandoning their reaving ways. So they don’t have to abandon their heritage anymore & they are free to attack Sansa / Winterfell in the future.... and make her pay ‘The Iron Price’.

2 - Davos did not know anything about the deal Tyrion made with Bronn when they were selecting a new King (Bran) in the Dragon Pit. Tyrion was a prisoner at that very moment... so he was in no position to give Bronn Highgarden. Sometime after Tyrion became Hand of the King is when he paid up on his debts to Bronn.

3 - Sam was not an ‘Arch’ Maester. Those ranks are only in Oldtown, at the Citadel. He just became a regular Maester, like Maester Luwin At Winterfell. Between all the time he spent at the Citadel reading and transcribing countless old scrolls & textbooks... and all the personal notes of various other Arch Maesters... and healing Jorah of Greyscale... and probably reading all the books at Castle Black that belonged to Maester Aemon... plus reading all the ‘advanced books’ he stole from the Citadel... he’s probably learned enough to become a regular Maester.

4 - Most likely Lord Gendry Baratheon.

5 - Most likely Lord Gendry Baratheon.

Where are the Unsullied and Dothraki going? I understand they wouldnt want to stay in Westeros, but why not explain it better?
The Unsullied went to Naath.

Several Dothraki are seen walking the pier / boarding ships at the Docks in Kings Landing, when Jon is leaving at the end & he looks up at Greyworm... right before telling his crew to sail for Naath.

Most likely the Dothraki went back to Essos / The Great Grass Sea where they came from.

5 - Most likely Lord Gendry Baratheon.

I guess I could see Gendry getting Dragonstone since it was previously held by his uncle Stannis. But Dragonstone is part of the crownlands, it should go to the family who holds the throne. But I guess no Starks are available.

He definitely won't get Warden of the east. That's on the other side of The Reach. Bron ain't having that lol

Right! Exactly he was exiled to the wall so it only makes sense that the show ends with him not at the wall but hanging out with the wildlings.

Jon went off with the Wildlings so I guessing he was the Prince that was promised - to them.

I think John thought She would eventually kill him and his family. I think he remembered his life of living without choices, following orders he didn’t agree with and thought that the town people were puppets and were following orders they also didn’t agree with and they were killed for it. Most of the town people were just caught in the middle, didn’t have a choice but were killed as collateral damage. John remembered his life and dying. D didn’t free the town people she decided they were on C side and killed them all. To her if you are not a friend you are an enemy. The towns people probably never knew what was going on, C just used them because she thought D thought of herself as “good person” so she would not kill innocent towns people, so if she surrounded herself with the innocent she would be safe. She lost that bet. Greyworm had fought in wars when he was enslaved by evil people and killed other “good” people who fought against being enslaved. He who had nothing returned in charge of all the troops.

Send them there to do what? They have prisons for prisoners.

To anyone else question why is there still a need for a Night's Watch, remember that their purpose wasn't just protecting Westeros against White Walkers and Wildlings. The Watch is also the main form of prison in Westeros.
So even if they do't have to guards the realms of men, they still need a place to send all the murders, rapists, and other criminals for punishment.

Jon Arryn was the former Warden of the East. He was from the Vale. If they didn’t make Gendry Warden of the East, then probably Robin Arryn, or Lord Royce. Or anyone from that area. :dunno:

Personally I think if Bran had to choose between Robin Arryn, Lord Royce & Gendry Baratheon to be Warden of the East... he would pick Gendry.

Just my opinion.

Sorry typo in my original post. I meant Warden of West. Which was formerly held by the Lannisters. As you said Robin Arryn would be Warden of the East. Tyrion had a lot of other cousins in the book, but I think they killed them all off in the show.

I've always kind of viewed the Wall like the Château d'If from 'The Count of Monte Cristo'.
Every castle has a dungeon for regular prisoners, but like the Château d'If, the Wall is where you send criminals that you don't ever want to see or hear referenced ever again.

Then where would Gendry (the last Baratheon) get, Einstein?

His Uncle & Father ruled both Storm’s End and Dragonstone. You think they gonna give him Dorne? Or the Eerye? Or the Last Hearth? Do tell.

If it helps any, the entire last season of True Blood was unwatchable. I just acted like it didn't exist.
I also didn't see the last season of House of Cards.
Spartacus finale was the shit...I guess I'll never be that satisfied again. Sopranos, Lost, Star Wars, Dexter..so many good series end horribly. Now...Game of Thrones. :smh:

The only other person I can think of to be named Warden of the West could be Edmure Tully. Riverrun is a bit North of Highgarden, but it is still west of Kings Landing. :dunno:

in this case its a good chess move for Bran and Sansa- they place Jon among his power base -

in the end the Stark children control Kings Landing, the North and Beyond the Wall

Yara should be loyal to Bran or have all the other kingdoms wage war on the Iron Islands. Iron Island would lose.

Tyrion told everyone about his deal with Bronn off camera. Does everything need to be spelled out for you guys?

Why not give it to Gendry?

The Lannisters held Casterly Rock & the Red Keep at the same time.

There’s nobody at The Twins. The Freys are all dead. The most logical person to give it to is Edmure Tully. which means he would control The Twins and Rivereun.

The Baratheons held Storms End & Dragonstone at the same time.... why not give them both to Gendry?

Not happy with the finale at all, Dany deserved a better death than that, horrible directing of that death scene. Emilia Clarke acted her ass off and deserved better. SMH, only way I'm coping with it is telling myself Drogon taking her all the way east in Essos to Asshai for some red priests/priestesses to resurrect her and then they're coming back with Drogon the size of Balerion the Black Dread to burn KL all down again

Bran the broken is a wack ass name, smh how they were all there letting Bran and Tyrion finesse the King and Hand position out of them all while tyrion was literally in shackles

Why the fuck was Tyrion locked up in a wine cellar in the first place, allowed to have treasonous convo with Jon

How was Yara and the other Lord Paramounts cool with Sansa just declaring independence for the north immediately without them doing the same smh

All the flea bottom ppl came up the most from the mud, Bronn, Davos and Gendry

Jon really gave up life with Dany, fine ass Dany to go live with the wildlings

Why are you quoting me? :hmm:

Yara’s deal doesn’t need to be explained to me. Neither does Tyrion’s deal with Bronn.

Notice, I was answering someone else’s questions. I didn’t ask the questions.

If you took a minute to ask yourself ‘why’ Yara would have to fight the other kingdoms... then read my response... it would explain what you just wrote. :hmm:

Guessing? Tony was killed at the end. It was straight forward.

It could be interpreted that way or maybe we " The viewer" got whacked. You probably never know when it happens. A lot of folks complained about the last season of the Sopranos and in retrospect, it was one of the best seasons of the series. I have watched the complete series many times. It is so much there that you didn't catch 1st or 2nd time for that matter. I'm rewatching GoT and have made it to mid-season 3 and the same is true to some degree.

Red Keep is the Castle of anyone who sits on the Iron Throne.
When you become King your ancestral home is passed to another person in your family and they get their own house!

Lannisters of Lannisport and Lannisters of Casterly Rock were 2 different lines. Tywin and Kevan.
Storms End and Dragonstone was Robert (then Renly) and Stannis
Gendry is one person. They are not going to give him 2 separate houses in 2 different areas.
Not only is it too much for a new lord it doesn't make sense.

How can a Lord defend 2 castles at the same time?

No Lord gets 2 Castles.

Also look at it this way, if Prince Charles becomes King of England. He will no long be the Prince of Wales. He will be the King of England and live in Buckingham Palace. The title of Prince of Wales will be given to Prince William.

Why not give it to Gendry?

Ok dude.

Yep. I have heard it proposed it was us. The big thing with the Sopranos is that the end is coming for Tony Soprano and for us all. Tony may meet his fate in a courtroom. Remember Carlo had flipped. Or Tony could be whacked by someone. That could be anyone as represented by the dude in the Members Only Jacket. Then again he could live the rest of his days looking over his shoulder. I have always leaned toward Tony being whacked. I think for GoT fans the discussion will always be around Dany. The heel turn that wasn't.(or was) I'm ok with that as these kinds of discussions add a dimension to the show that makes rewatching them rewarding.

Who do people think should get those titles that the small counsel was discussing?
I forget most of them, but I could Bran naming Yara as Master of War. It would be a good move to throw the Ironborn a bone since they weren't on board with Bran being king. And the Iron Fleet should be the most powerful naval force left in Westero, so naming her Master of War would make some sense.
