I have a G3C as my car gun. Sits right in a holster next to my entertainment console. Easily accessible should I need to draw on anyone so I won't have to struggle to reach around my seatbelt to get to my EDC.i love Taurus's.....got 3 of em.

I made sure to stay away from any magnet setups in the car as well. I stay seeing advertisements for them but after talking with multiple people in my NAAGA group I elected to stay away from them. Last thing I need is my gun turning into a projectile if I ever have to make a sudden hard stop or get into an accident. I went with a velcro/3M adhesive setup from AlienGear so that way even if the holster comes off the base velcro pad, the gun is still in a holster and is unlikely to fall out. Also cuz of where I put it and having my windows tinted, you can't see the gun from outside unless you're right up on my car and really really looking in during the day. At night you're not seeing it without assistance from some light. My car stays in my garage but when I'm out, I have a Vaultek Lifepod safe I put it in.My S&W .45 sits under the electronic shifter in my ride, and my .40 sits in the pocket of the driver's side door.
Walther makes some beautiful guns that fit so proper in the hands but lawd the price on them. Them & HK are not for the stingy wallets
Not a everyday carry type thing, but hey
Yeah I am a Springfield fan all day. Had the XD-M compact 9mm and gave it to my son. Was too small for my hand on the length of the grip and too wide on the thickness of it and the way it "prints" thru clothes I wore. I got a Taurus G3C, fits my hand better. Much better when I go running or small enough in my pocket.I carried 9mm for most of my life in the Beretta while serving. It’s like an extension of me really. Had lasers on it since I was specialized in a cert. Also did a lot of competitions with it. You can rack it on your foot if needed and it’s very reliable but I picked up the Hellcat and put about 100 rounds through it and I like it lol it’s micro 9mm but it’s nice with it. Thing is so small it’s ridiculous. Very accurate on range too.
I don't even wanna talk about the price!! Its a match gun for competition shooting so it was more than I expected for a 9mmWalther makes some beautiful guns that fit so proper in the hands but lawd the price on them. Them & HK are not for the stingy wallets
I had to give up the Hellcat. The grip was great and the size wasn't any inconvenience but the design for the slide release ended up being the flaw for me. I grip pretty high so my thumb kept pressing against the slide release and that caused the slide to not lock back on the empty magazine. Also because of how recessed the slide lock is, I couldn't manually lock the slide back like I could with other pistols and would have to put an empty mag in 1st to lock it back. Ended up selling it and buying a P365 instead. P365 ended up being the better fit for me when holding it in my hands as well as when I shoot. No issues with the slide locking back or slide release and much less felt recoil despite being a lil smaller than the Hellcat too.Yeah I am a Springfield fan all day. Most other times I have my Springfield XD-M Elite 9mm on me. Holds 22rds. It's a beast
Oh I know the price was a hefty pain on your wallet. I had my eye on the Sig P320 X5 Legion and that runs for a good grip too. Also got my eye on the CMMG Banshee 300 in 10mm but that mofo is currently selling for around $1700. I'm hoping to wait for a lil bit and find it cheaper once gun & ammo prices start to return to normalI don't even wanna talk about the price!! Bro my gun range has mutiple Staccato pistols available for renting. I played with the trigger and immediately fell in love til I was brought back to reality after seeing the price to buy it. I might just go the range next week and rent it just to say I've actually shot with it
This is my dream but I cannot fathom paying that for a handgun!!!
Get a MantisX3. You can at least dry fire practice using it until ammo prices come down and when you go back to the range can still use it to see where you need improvementMan... I'm pissed, have two pieces I got last year, prior to Covid last year, luckily bought up ammo prior to the crazy prices of ammo. Haven't even shot the guns yet on the range and couldn't fathom paying $30-50 for a 50rd box of ammo.
I normally rinse 3 boxes of 50rds when I go to the range. That was $30 max.
Today, to spend $100 to $150, lawd, the jew in me is like screw that.
Will wait for prices and stock to return to normal... Conserve my ammo for the armageddon lol.
I wonder if the price was this high before it was known as John Wick's gunBro my gun range has mutiple Staccato pistols available for renting. Maybe not as high but it would still be high. It's a competition gun so the price would definitely be up there. The Taran Tactical mods only increased it even more. Same with guns remade by Wilson Combat.I wonder if the price was this high before it was known as John Wick's gun
I like how the MantisX3 tells me what I'm doing on every trigger squeeze and also gives me drills that I can use to improve my skills. I just received it this weekend and used it with my Canik TP9 Elite SC. I'm bout to put it on my Canik TP9SFX and have some fun with it while I wait for the picatinny rail attachment for my P365 to arrive. Since the P365 is my primary EDC, I want to get as proficient with it as possibleI have a laser bullet. I recommend it to all my friends. Improved my accuracy ten fold. Had it a few years.
My 3rd and favorite gun I own. I shoot soooooo accurately with it it's scary. Same here. I'm surprisingly almost as accurate with my TP9 Elite SC despite it being a subcompact. I think it's the Canik triggersMy 3rd and favorite gun I own. I shoot soooooo accurately with it it's scary. High capacity mag for a 9 too
I thought about getting a car mount for my gun.....but I'm always carrying in a holster on me so there's no need.

Whatever you do, practice practice practice. And don't let you or anyone else in your household that you trust with your firearms be like this
She damn near killed herself & others in close vicinity. If someone took her there then they need to be banned too for not properly preparing her or getting involved more quickly when it was obvious she had no idea what she was doing

I keep a separate gun for in the car as I posted earlier in this thread. That way I never have to worry about trying to reach around a seatbelt to get to my EDC. Mine is right by my right knee so it's quickly accessible & doesn't require a lot of motion for me to reach for itI thought about getting a car mount for my gun.....but I'm always carrying in a holster on me so there's no need.
The dumb shit I've seen ppl wearing to the range is amazing. Like they going to Club Med instead. I be wishing a hot casing lands right inside their top openings or feet every timeHoe in there wit house shoes on. Smh
Who knows. Either way she doesn't need to be anywhere near a firearm til she gets proper trainingWhy did she keep squeezing???
My wife and daughter bought those, they are Ugg sandals. Dumb ass shit. Rihanna's Fenty has a pair of furry sandals, similar, my daughter has them too. Dumbest shit I've seen. They are for outdoors.Hoe in there wit house shoes on. Smh

I've been to ranges that make you watch safety videos before allowing you to shoot & even been to one where there was no RPO but none would allow anyone to walk in with footwear like that. I agree the employee needs to be fired for letting her slip through. He probably saw that ass & lost track of what he was supposed to doNah, bruh, the employee that allowed her to proceed should be fired. Every range I've been to gives you that little safety test. The fact that they let her go through, speaks volumes.
I have an electronic transmission, so there's an open spot under the shifter. Funny you asked. I Googled it after reading a post in this thread, and I'm not finding anything saying that it is. That being said, I'm going to hold off keeping the .45 there until I know for sure. This board delivers! Is yours magnet based?
I wouldn't trust any magnets even the ones advertised as car gun mounts. The magnets are definitely strong but the gun can still move around on them & will fly off if enough momentum is given during a hard stop or accident. Last thing you wanna have happen is your gun flying around in the carFunny you asked. I Googled it after reading a post in this thread, and I'm not finding anything saying that it is. Look at my post earlier with the setup I'm using. All from AlienGear. 3M glue to keep the base stuck to the surface you put it on & then holster attached to via velcro. At least at the end of the day your gun is holstered & don't have to worry about any random object can get inside the trigger guard or the gun flying around in your car as a projectile should the holster ever come off the base.Funny you asked.
