That’s actually a good diet. U can cut the bread if u want but long as u aren’t going over board you’ll be good. A single glass of juice won’t kill u. That stuff does have a lot of sugar. I cut it with water on the rare occasions I drink it. Other than that your diet is great. If you exercising with this, the carbs and sugar from the bread and juice will get burned first. You fine.

Like I had one slice of pizza a few days ago but I put fresh spinach kale arugla on it!

Do you ever buy English Muffins? There's an assortment of brands on the market ... some healthier than others. They're great if you want less calories than a bagel, and you can also make up your own Egg McMuffin at home. Been doing that more the past year ... home and work. Make up some eggs ... toast an English muffin, and you're good to go. Really affordable too.

The best thing about soups and stews is you can "throw the kitchen sink" in there.


I made up a soup last year and put Udon noodles in there, cooked ground beef, chick peas, red kidney beans, black-eyed peas, diced onions, spices, etc. Really filling ... and hell ... it will clean you out.

Yea it can get confusing. It depends on you. Workouts are only as good as the effort and intensity that you put in to it. Some people aren’t morning people. So they won’t workout early. I myself can’t workout after eating. I need an empty stomach. Most cats I know will at least do a shake or a small meal. Me, fuck no. Core is utilized in every move u make so an empty stomach is a must. That being said, it is up to you. The question is, are you consistently doing hard workouts on the regular or no? If the you aren’t then u need to get to work. The internet will forever have their opinions on diets and workout plans. If u don’t hurry up and make a plan that suits YOU then you’re going to keep being fat and unhealthy. Some like weights. Some do body weight only. Some like vegetarian diets. Some do carnivore diets. I say who the fuck cares. What are your goals? And what are you doing to achieve them! We damn sure can’t pull a workout/ diet plan like the rock. So what is your alternative plan? Literally you can go on Google, and get a a dozen different plans and workouts. But the reality is, if you trying to lose weight the consensus is this: eat clean, (lean protein, veggies and simple carbs like rice/sweet potatoes and exercise. Do this regularly). It’s that simple. U can do the Mediterranean diet, the keto diet, pescatarian diet, vegan diet etc. but it’s all the same shit if you look closely. Get to it and get it done. No disrespect to you bruh btw. I just hate when guys get too hung up on this. The fitness industry has made the health journey way more complicated than it needs to be.

Most mornings when I wake up I feel hungry, but I realized I'm actually thirsty.... after drinking a bottle of water, I'm good to go until lunch. Chick peas are a great source of protein. Really affordable too. Always stock up on them when they're priced right (which is nearly all the time). Great for adding into soups.

I put the weight back on because I was lazy and didn't work out. Not necessarily because of the diet, but because I didn't correct my poor eating habits and what I learned later is to eat off of saucers not plates.
As @Helico-pterFunk said, it's about portion sizes. A saucer is closer to a correct portion size than a larger plate.

Most restaurants and fast food place give you much more than you should eat in one sitting.

Problem with that is, each time you eat more than you should, your stomach stretches to accommodate. Soon, the amount of food that would fill a saucer won't satiate you, now you are back to overeating.

You have to quasi-maintain smaller portion eating unless you are super working out hard. Most of us aren't, so all that food qe eat goes right to the gut.

Once I get down this time I'm gonna keep on the weights and exercise
I feel that's why these crazy diets aren't good, its more practical to change you whole lifestyle over time

Don't stress yourself, just limit your portions.

Instead of eating a full plate like you usually, cut it down 1/3rd and if you can in half.

Drink water before you start eating and during to fill yourself up.

Yeah - sugar seems to be on the higher side ^ in the Tropicana.

I don't buy much juice, so I don't have any immediate comparisons w/ labels.

I used to buy this stuff when it was more affordable. Get it on sale and then water it down. It's a lower sodium version of their other offerings.

Pretty good - friends and family have liked it as well.

I'm finally got to my target weight. Hell, i'm even below it now. I stopped doing IF.
Just eating to nourish my body.

In the morning i eat a bowl of oats, with fruits, nuts and seeds (i'm vegan, so i eat a lot of seeds to up my zinc intake).
At lunch a green smoothie with a lot of fruits

At dinner beans or lentils with a ton of vegetables and mushrooms.

I don't believe in moderation. If you want to get healthy. Go all in or go home!
Your health is your EVERYTHING. That should be enough motivation.

To get extraordinary results, you have to live your life differently than you are used to. I lost 120 lbs in total.
I’m in my late 30s. But physically i feel like i’m in my early 20s. It’s crazy!

I eat like this 5-6 times a weeks. In the weekends i just eat what i want. But when your body get used to clean eating. Your junk food cravings will disappear for good.

My big tip:
Don’t do any specific diet. Don't think in macros. Don't focus on calories. Just make sure you eat REAL food. Please, don't make it harder than it already is.
Reduce or don’t eat processed food at all. Cut out ALL sodas. It will do you more harm than good.
Drinking more water is the single best thing you can do for your health.

Yes, people will think your boring. But who the fuck cares. It's your life.

Losing weight is easy. But the mental aspect makes it hard for most of us. We have been brainwashed our whole life.

Results will not come from one day to another, so take it step by step. It took me years to get here.

Get healthy folks!

Bro, it's basically spaghetti with the kitchen sink, like gumbo only with spaghetti sauce.

Typical Italian seasoning, basil, oregano, garlic, olive oil, couple pinches of sugar (see Godfather Part 1)

Dice the veggies as big or as small as you want. I like my shit chunky, keep the shrimp whole (when I was broke I used to cut them in 3's)

Saute everything in a combo of olive oil, garlic, basil & oregano.

Italian sausage ground it up as big or as small as you want it, you could even put it in the food processor

So the sauce separate, season to taste (I use pink Himalayan sea salt).

Boom. That shit is bananas. :inlove:

For most people that are not professional body builders, professional athletes or have insulin issues (diabetic) glycemic index is not a factor. Corn is carbs as is broccoli but all carbs are not created equal. Natural carbs do not have same impact as processed carbs ie sugar. Basically dietary fiber offsets the "carb" impact in veggies that have them.

Good to hear you on your health G. I tried everything you can think of, Atkins, low carb liquid, starving myself you name it All I do is eat raw unprocessed foods and fish. I also make Tempeh during the week and drink a half gallon of water daily. No added sugar and 1/4 tsp of salt a day because you need some sodium. Since doing so I'm almost at 13% body fat. I think what's incredibly hard for most people to grasp the concept that if you fuel your body with proper nutrients............ You won't be hungry or have any cravings.

Cravings are coming from your microbiome as a result of dysbiosis. In other words, your microbiome or gut bacteria is not working at its peak and is being over ran by a bunch of bad bacteria. One thing I will have to inject my two cents on is eating chips or empty calories for snacks. I personally eat raw stuff like nuts and seeds if I want to snack for a quick min.

I trained myself to get rid of any food that does not bring proper fuel to my body. That way in the beginning I wouldn't be tempted. Look at it like your body is a car. If you fuel it up with crappy fuel, it's going to stall. You don't do regular Maintenace its going to eventually give out on you.

At the end of the day, it's not about will power, its recognizing that your microbiome is out of wack. Understanding how what you eat affects "everything" is the first step. Listen to your body. It's not normal to be on daily meds unless you have a medical condition that you have no choice but to take them or you get sick or die.

The body is by nature designed to heal itself. I once had high cholesterol, pre diabetic, issues with my liver and kidneys being elevated from drinking soda and not enough water. Maybe I'm this way because I'm getting older. I think as I got older, I started to realize, bra, your time is limited on this earth. You have had decades to eat all the BS you wanted. Now, eat for me or I will give out on you and yo ass will DIE!

Watch your salt and sugar ladies and gentlemen. Black folks should only be intaking about 1500-1800 mgs a day.

The point is to get down and then maintain by exercise and eating better.

For some getting down will take forever. This simplifies it, gets it down quick.

It's a small loan for 1 million dollars. From there you can do the rest on your own. But if you are busting your butt to make a million there are a lot of pitfalls keeping you from getting there so you are never able to do what you set out to do

This is the diet I use. It puts your body in a form of hibernation like a bear. You take in the minimum caloric amount (800 calories), no sugar, no honey - something to do with Ketosis.

You don't take in any carbs during this period. You can do this diet for 20 days, 30 days or 40 days, I'm running it from January 3rd to February 3rd.

This diet cost me $1500 when I did it the first time so I stuck with it and lost 45 lbs in 40 days

During hibernation, the bears go in fat and come out skinny, your body will have the same effect.

Body signals:

Many times you're thinking you're hungry and you're just thirsty. So, you get a snack, a bag of chips and you end up tearing through the bag of chips and you're still not satisfied, because you were never hungry to start with.

Supplement snacks with water. During this diet you drink HALF your body weight in water. I am 222, so I'm drinking 111 Oz of water (7 bottles of water).

The best part is during this Period it causes your stomach to shrink, so afterwards you get full quicker.

Also, don't be surprised but you don't shit. There is no waste. The body uses all you put into it

So

Breakfast: black coffee or unsweetened tea (i use ginger or mint or turmeric, or a combination of them)

Lunch: 5.5 oz of either of those allowed meats or 10 jumbo shrimp (no salmon)

half a bag of steamed vegetables (no peas, corn or carrots- all carbs)

Handful of fruit (blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, a peach or an apple (no citrus fruits like oranges, pineapples, or melons

Dinner: Different variations of the allowable foods

Get a good night's sleep because you lose weight while you're sleeping

Weigh yourself every morning. If you go more than 2 days without losing weight you need to shock your system by eating five apples throughout the day.

This works. I once lost 45 lbs in 40 days...but then I got lazy and didn't maintain a workout routine.

So once you lose weight start working out or the weight will return.

One thing I want add is I drink lemon water all day. I put one ounce lemon juice to 10 ounces of water. So I fill my 32oz tumbler with 3oz of lemon juice then fill with water and mix. I drink maybe 4-5 of them a day. Nothing else. Very beneficial to alkalizing the body and your blood. Look it up.

Also recently I started grounding/earthing.
I basically sleep on a conductive sheet that is below my bed sheet and it's connected to a ground wire. I sleep on it nightly. Only been doing it about a month. It is proven to help with inflammation in the body and a host of other benefits. I know I have felt less body aches and things, especially at my age being 25 and a half. Lol
