I'm down to 219 from 232 on January 3rd. I did break down and got a glass of wine last night but that's my only cheat so far.

Another 20 days of shrimp, broccoli, fruit and water.

My stomach is shrinking so when I do get off this diet it will take less to fill me up, which will help in the end

Imagine being full of of a plate of 10 jumbo shrimp and broccoli and a small bowl of blueberries.

I just has a nurse tell me NOT to drink water before I eat!

All this sh*t is confusing some times!

They tell you not to drink water for proper digestion. It dilutes your digestive juices. The ones telling you to drink are dieters because it helps you feel full. You can split the difference and drink water about an hour ahead of time in case you think you're hungry and are actually thirsty, but if you are drinking lots of water throughout the day, that shouldn't be the case.

Almost 40 here hehe..

According to this calculator i'm at 8% body fat. Don't think it's 100% accurate. But i'm definitely 10%.

Is my body perfect. No far from it. I have a little bit loose skin right under my belly button(it's only visible when im bending forward). But other than that i'm ripped. Not skinny fat. Six pack is clearly visible and well defined. Maybe i got lucky i don't know.

How did i lose 120 lbs and get a six pack ? All i did was walking; 10k-20k steps a day. On summer days sometimes even +20k.
I did lift a handful of times. But i wasn't really consistent and than covid came....

But the most important thing is your diet.

Most people say losing weight is 80% diet, 20% exercise. I think it should be 90%.
If you want to be ripped, a healthy diet is crucial. Exercing is good for your overal health.. But ehhhh.... it's not really a weight loss tool.

Most peoples are overdoing it nowadays.

I can get in the over 2 miles a day and haven't missed but the working out has been inconsistent. I got light headed a few times but yesterday I did the core workout on Netflix again with no weights and I was OK.

I REALLY was not drinking enough water. I was surprised I thought I did until I actually kept count.

The diet been easier than I thought. I just don't have any of the bad food around.

Reading labels will REALLY f*ck your head up. I'm not even sure I understand everything on there but simple things like Trans fat, sugar, cholesterol, salt etc... yeah I really am surprised how many things I THOUGHT were good are not.

But stopping eating before 8 pm! Damn that is harder than I would have imagined.

Also sleeping more is a challenge.

Mom's in the hospital so I've been going from treatment, hospital, kids school, with travel and just A LOT of waiting rooms in between on my phone.

I think once I get her settled I can focus more. And my colonoscopy is soon I gotta diet for like 7 days to prep. I'm hoping that goes well. I'm actually nervous.

As an island dude white rice is the foundation. And then later for most of my adult life I was told that white rice was the worst thing I could eat especially as a black man.

It's crazy cause I'm old enough to remember when soy and fruit juice was considered GOOD for you!

Damn man it sounds like you have a lot going on!

You can only do your best with all that's going on, all you can do is try but it sounds like you're making an effort and that counts more than you know!

It's crazy when you REALLY watch what you eat. I had no idea Flatbread was NOT a healthy alternative to just bread. Doritos will kill you. Bacon is basically death in stick form.

And we DO NOT DRINK ENOUGH WATER.

I knew it was important but damn.
It's crazy period get a good night's sleep and weigh yourself before you go to sleep and then after you wake up and pee period you fucking lose weight sleeping.

I'm still tripping off the fact that I lost 16 lb already since the 1st. I know it's just water weight, but I don't really even feel hungry.

But honestly I can't wait to cheat. I'm only going to eat half of my cheat Foods though. Trying to do shit in moderation this time

Next time you go to a fast food joint and get a burger, tell them to cut it in half and throw the other half away. Tell them to throw the other half away because I know I don't have the self control.
